Airi clutched the blood red stone around her neck as it pulsated was wrong with her beloved demon,she could feel she reached him , she saw the pain in his eyes. Why wasn't he healing? He tried to assure her he was fine but she could see the blood. The human reached up with her hand stroking his cheek with a sad smile. " Daichi, my love.."she choked as her own back exploded open causing her to scream . Was this the pain Daichi was suffering? What had cause such a thing?
"We can't let you two do this..Humans are not meant to live alongside demons." Airi fell with her demon mate as blood flooded her. She could barely make out two females one her best friend who was also a demon and the village priestess.
" I...will...always...find...him." She spat through the blood as both her and Daichi's life faded.
...Present day...
" Happy Birthday,Rin." Sesshomaru whispered in his usual monotone as the now twenty one year began to stir smiled as she saw the demon standing in front of her with something in his hands.
" Thank you,My Lord." She piped up just as he handed her the grey bundle in his human sat up and began to un wrap the bundle to find a sword weighted to her.
"Does it suit you?" He asked as she examined it from blade to red nodded with a smile. " Though why Totosai agreed easily to your commission, I'm unsure."Jaken huffed as he entered the hut.
"Come, us train." Sesshomaru stated as he offered her his hand to get up.

" My ancestors have told me about you,Mistress. " The old monk sighed as he sensed the dog demon coming. " I have awaited your arrival and yes I have sensed the stone. It shall surface soon."The dog demon lowered her hood revealing her elder like appearance. Her golden eyes stared at the human with a tolerance. " Do they know of its existence?" She questioned. The monk shook his head.A smile began to form on the ancient demon."Let us keep it that way."
