Summary: Castiel has always been an obedient soldier. And then he meet Dean Winchester.
AN: By popular demand, a sequel to Not So Straight
Castiel is an angel. A soldier of the Lord. He was taught to follow orders and obey with question. He always did what his superiors told him without question because he believed he was following God's will. He never had reason to question this. And then he meet Dean Winchester.
When Castiel was chosen for this task, he was honored. This was one of God's Chosen. A Savior. A blessing.
However, Dean. . .was nothing like he expected. He was a skeptic, a nonbeliever, he swore and had sex with woman at a very alarmingly frequency. To say that he was surprised would be a massive understatement.
And yet, there was something extraordinary about him. Even though Castiel had watched over humans for eons, he had never met a single soul that was as both frustrating and as fascinating as Dean was.
The man was simply put. . Amazing. He could not understand why the young man did not see it himself. Didn't he know how remarkable he was. And no matter how many times he told him how special he was, he never seemed to believe it.
Still, he kept on trying. No matter how many times Dean scoffed.
This was a man worth believing in.
This was a man worth dying for.
This was a man worth loving.
