Summary: Based on Mini's First Time, Clare's parents split up, her mum remarried to a guy called Mike Reynolds, Clare and her mum don't get along, Eli and Clare are best friends, Eli is dating Julia. This is extremely au so all the characters are oc.
Clare P.O.V
I never really liked Mike the first time I met him, he wore a smirk on his face all the time. I still can't believe a guy like that would fall for my erratic mother who's been able to scare off every man who's dared to start something with her. Though When I do look back on the entire situation I laugh because the real reason he started the relationship in the first place was because of me. I grabbed Eli's hand and just listened to the beeping on his heart monitor. This is my entire fault.
