Chapter 1
Catherine Rosenberg was standing out side a large house which looked rather old for having only been built three weeks ago. Catherine had the feeling the architect was trying to make it fit in with the other houses along the road. It looked like it was from the time when the Salem Witch trials were on.
Catherine shook her head at the small pun after all this was new Salem what did she expect.
To Catherine it was as though all her nightmares had come true in the last two weeks her mother had died, there was a lot of mess with her and her brothers' custody case and now she was living in the middle of no where on a bloody island no less.
*This is not a good day* Catherine moaned to herself.
"Catherine come and help please." The voice was that of her oldest brother's Coal, he was just eighteen. In a sense this was quite lucky as this meant that he could have custody over her and her other brother Cal.
"Coming!" Catherine yelled back.
Catherine was not very tall but she wasn't short. She had long brown hair which glinted different colours in the sun. Her dark blue eyes looked almost black and set of her pail skin. Well that's what you get when you live for most of your life in rainy old England where when the sun shines people think the world is going to end. (A.N. No offence to those who are British I am as well and where I live it very close to the truth.)
Catherine gracefully walked to the opened back of the moving truck where two handsome boys where holding boxes. The first was Coal Rosenberg; he was around 6'3 with a muscular but lithe body. His dark brown hair and blue eyes were not that much different to Catherine's. The other was only just slightly shorter than Coal and was called Cal. Cal Rosenberg was seventeen and could have been his brothers twin they were so alike. There was no doubt that the three teenagers were related.
Catherine grabbed a box and all three of them set off towards the house. When they were at the front of the house the stopped and Coal said "Welcome to number thirteen Crowhaven Road!"
