"It's a little cold outside tonight but I was to close not to say Hi"
Here I am trying to make my way down the snow covered grounds to her house. Normally I would just have my mom drive me but she refused because it was getting to late. By this time I could barley even see where I was walking but I knew i was going in the right direction because I made the trip to many times to count. I sighed, rubbing my hands together trying to keep warm as I continued walking. I wasn't going to stop, I couldn't stop. Tomorrow I head back on tour and I wont be back for months or even a year.
My eyes widened when I noticed where I was standing. I had finally reached her drive way. That walk felt like it was going to take a year. I smiled, walking up to the door and knocking. She opened the door which surprised me because I expected her dad to answer. "What do you want Greyson?" Same her, I sighed trying to think of the right words to say to her.
"You know I talked to a friend of yours at school..she gave me the impression that you might be cool."
She looked at me weirdly after I said that. She probably thought I was a total freak by now so I might as well go for it. "With a guy like me with a girl like you..could you ever see? A guy like me with a girl like you." She shook her head looking down at the ground obviously not willing to look me in the eyes "No Greyson..were to different." she whispered softly most likely to make sure her parents didn't hear us. They never approved of me. But I'm not sure why..
"Am I a fool for, fool for, falling for you girl?" She nodded this time as I looked down at the ground. "Greyson I'm so sorry but It could never work out..You have to understand that were.." I cut her off though "Please don't break my heart Cheyenne." I looked back up at her and she noticed tears running down my face and onto my cheeks. She frowned getting ready to close the door but I held my hand up to stop it from closing.
"Am I a fool for making you my whole world? Please don't break my heart Cheyenne!" I yelled this time while then looking back down at the ground embarrassed and trying to hide the fact that I was crying. "I wish I didn't have to.." she whispered softly once again. "But were just to different..and my parents.." I looked up to see her father standing behind her. "Please don't break it." I whispered softly as tears started to fall from her eyes as well.
"Go to your room Cheyenne." Her dad yelled angrily while then turning to face me. "You get out of here, and never come back." He commanded as if I were his own son. The tears started to fall again as I slowly nodded whilst then turning around and walking down their drive way. I looked back up at her house one last time before walking down the road.
"Please don't break my heart Cheyenne."
