Violence is never the answer. Says who?
Another typical one-shot. Nothing new. I do not own IZ. Why do we even have to say that? Sigh. That will always be a mystery to me. On with the story!
"I hate you."
"I know."
"Your head is big."
Sigh.
"I hate you."
"No-duh!"
"Your head is big."
"Shut up."
"I hate you."
"SHUT UP!"
"Your head is bi-!"
Dib flung himself at the obnoxious alien in front of him and they both fell to the ground. They rolled over and over in the snow, a flurry of arms and legs as they viscously clawed at one another.
Gaz just leaned against the school brick wall. Just another typical day. She smirked slightly as she heard her brother yelp in pain as Zim's claws struck his delicate skin through his fifty-something layers of jackets. "Will they both ever learn that their little cat-fights are totally pointless?" the fourteen-year-old girl muttered to herself. She turned around and went back inside as the bell rang, indicating that class was about to start.
Zim and Dib, too absorbed in their "fighting", didn't hear it nor did they realize that the playground was completely disserted. Finally, after about five more minutes, they broke apart.
"Dib-stink," Zim panted.
"What, Zim?" Dib mumbled as he lay back in the snow, his heart rate still beating wildly from the exertion of the fight.
Zim smiled smugly. "Zim has beaten you again, pitiful human!"
"WHAT? You didn't beat me! I beat you!" Dib spat, sitting up and glaring at Zim.
The arrogant grin never left Zim's face. If anything else, it seemed to have possibly grown bigger. "Earthling, you must realize that I have beaten you. If you were to have won, then you would be feeling this sort of triumphant emotion and be grinning. But, I wouldn't expect you, Dib-beast, to know what triumph feels like." Zim stood up, patted Dib's head as if he were a pet and began to stalk towards the Skool. His stalk more of a swagger.
Dib blinked, letting that sink in. Then his head snapped in the direction in which Zim was walking/swaggering. He leaped to his feet and raced after the alien.
"Hold on! What is that supposed to mean?" Dib shouted. Too late. The doors swung closed, and Zim disappeared from view.
Dib growled as he tugged desperately at the doors. Locked. Crap! He thought. Crap, crap, CRAP! Dad is going to kill me if he finds out I've missed another day of classes!
But it was nothing new. This happened every single day. But tomorrow would be his day. Oh, yes, tomorrow Dib would beat Zim.
And thus it began anew.
