Harry stalked in to the drawing room, vehemently mad at the world around him. How dare they believe him only a child; he was fifteen after all, would be a sophomore in high school. He anger subdued slightly as he was joined by Hermione and Ron, the former castigating the latter for surmising his mother of favoring Ginny. Harry could just discern the sound of the younger sister's footsteps as she entered the room behind them and shut the door.

"You know, Hermione," Ron stated matter-of-factly, "I do think my mother takes favorites. It's always, 'why don't you get good grades like Hermione, why don't you act like Harry.' I swear, she thinks the two of you a paragons, or something." He popped a chocolate frog out of its case and into his mouth in one motion. Hermione rolled her eyes, plopped down on the couch, and sank behind a book.

"Hermione," Ginny asked as she leaned in behind her, "how exactly do you manage to read something as obscure as whatever-you're-reading in ancient Greek?" Hermione blushed a deep scarlet and shrugged. Harry laughed at his friend as he turned towards the door and the sound of new voices.

"...all I'm saying is it can't be lechery if I was in prison for twelve years." Sirius's voice came through the door.

"Fine, but your attempts to woo the girl don't show promise." Tonks's said over her shoulder as she walked into the room.

"Indeed," Remus added, "I tend to think that your words and actions impede the process." He smiled at his friend as he followed him into the teens' mist.

"Who's ready for Phase Twelve of Operation: Make-Grimmauld-Place-Livable-by-Edifying-a-Box-to-Place-Over-Mrs.-Black?" Tonks promulgated to the room. The teens groaned in unison.
