Chapter 1:
Bumblyburg Museum:
"This is awesome!" Larry told Archie. "I can't believe that we're learning about dinosaurs!"
"My thoughts exactly, Master Larry," his butler agreed.
Larry and Archie were observing a T-Rex skeleton that was on display enter the museum entrance. While they were observing, Dr. Flurry was demonstrating his new contraption to a crowd of veggies.
"Ladies and gentlemen," Flurry announced, "I will now present my latest creation! The Dino Age Time Machine! This machine will allow you to see real life dinosaurs!"
The crowd oohed and ahhed at this spectacle.
"How does it work?" Junior Asparagus asked.
"I'm glad you asked!" Dr. Flurry said with a thrill.
Flurry pressed a button on the side of the machine, and the contraption roared to life. The crowd stepped back as the machine continued to shake.
Larry and Archie both see this and were surprised.
"I hope Dr. Flurry knows what he's doing this time," Archie hoped.
"Yeah, hasn't he been in jail for trying to take over the town one time?" Larry asked.
"Ah, yes, Master Larry," Archie reminded him. "You and the League sent him to jail, remember?"
"Oh! Right!" Larry recalled.
Suddenly… BOOM!
Larry and Archie heard screams after the boom. What was the screaming about?
"DINOSAUR!" Someone yelled.
"A dinosaur in the museum?" Larry questioned. "But there are so many that are reduced to bones here, just like the T-Rex here."
"Master Larry!" Archie shrieked. "People are running away from a real dinosaur! The one from Dr. Flurry's contraption! There's a real dinosaur in the museum!"
Larry hears more screams and then says, "This is a job for LarryBoy!"
Larry disappears into the nearest mens' room to change.
Meanwhile, Dr. Flurry tries to calm down the public.
"Everyone! Everyone, please! There's no need to be afraid! I'm not sure what happened! The machine wasn't supposed to do that!"
Archie approached Dr. Flurry and said, "How dare you bring this contraption to a public place, and then set loose a prehistoric monster that's not even under your control!"
"I can explain!" Dr. Flurry worried.
"Save it!" A hero from behind them shouted. "I AM THAT HERO!"
"LarryBoy!" the mad scientist said in relief, yet he was still worried. "Please don't arrest me! It wasn't my fault!"
"Violating your parole, huh, Flurry?" LarryBoy asked, eyeing the mad scientist suspiciously.
"Um, LarryBoy, I think you should tend to the dinosaur, while I take care of Dr. Flurry," Archie suggested. "The people of Bumblyburg are in serious trouble right now with that monster on the loose."
"You bet!" LarryBoy agreed, and then he shot a plunger and swung out of sight.
