Hey everyone, here's the sequel to Guardian Angel. It's readable on it's own, but personally I think it's much better after reading the first one.

My Protector

He watched me every night. His red and black eyes taking in every movement, his body trained to react.

I don't know how long it's been since he started coming here, risking everything just to sit in the same position night after night.

I remember the first time I woke up, startled by the sight of him sitting there in front of my window.

The rain had been coming down in sheets, lightning the only light in the dark moody sky. His eyes glowing in the darkness, he stood like a statue, perfect. The joy I'd felt had started in my stomach spreading outwards, after waiting so long my dream was about to come true.

My teammate, my friend, my love had finally come home.

Yet he hadn't returned to me, not really. I stayed awake that whole night. With my eyes closed, I had forced myself to pretend, waiting for him to open my window and come to me.

He never did, the sun began to rise and like the moon and the stars he had disappeared from my life once again.

From that night on it became my nightly ritual, my private secret.

He was the man of my dreams. With perfect hair, eyes the colour of the night and a cold exterior Sasuke Uchiha was the man for me.

It had taken years to break through the barriers he had erected around his heart. Even longer to gain his trust and prove to him that I wasn't going to give up on him EVER.

For days at a time I lived on a few hours of sleep, to afraid that if I truly slept he would disappear again, this time forever.

I know now the reason he won't allow himself to set foot in my room.

Haunted by his own personal demons he has damned himself to a lifetime of loneliness. His own personal punishment only to be truly free after his brother's death.

It's all right now, I know the truth, he left for my sake and has continued to return night after night for the same reason.

I don't know how long it's been since he started coming here and I can't wait for the day when we can finally meet safely in the sunlight. Until that day, I know right outside my window my guardian angel waits.
