The Next Morning
A/N: This one shot is set in Season 1 Episode 2 and is about what I think should've happened between Prue and Andy the next morning if Prue never left early in the morning while Andy was sleeping. I apologise if this is a bit short. I never intended for it to be long anyway so, I hope you enjoy it.
Andy opened his eyes, only to see Prue sleeping right next to him. He couldn't help but admire how beautiful she looked even though she was sleeping. The way her hair managed to get messy but still look attractive, – well, on Prue anyway – he loved the way she sometimes twitched her nose in her sleep. Andy had no doubt he would always find that cute. She looked so happy, so peaceful. He never wanted this moment to end.
Prue was starting to wake up, he knew this through his memories of her in high school, when they would sneak around and "spend the night" together, Prue was tossing and turning holding onto the duvet as if to grasp every moment of sleep she could. "Classic Prue" Andy thought. Prue opened her eyes and looked back at Andy.
"What are you looking at?" she said.
"You!" he replied. "You even look beautiful in the morning!" he teased.
"I'll take that as a compliment, thank you very much!"
He couldn't help but grin. Andy grabbed Prue, taking her into his arms, she let out a little scream of excitement, and he passionately kissed her. When their lips finally parted both of them had ended up with a big smile on their faces.
"I could wake up to this everyday!" Prue told Andy.
"So could I!" He replied. "How about we get some breakfast, and then we can spend the day together?"
"I'm up for it!" Prue said.
Prue's POV
I gradually opened my eyes and waited for them to adjust to the fact that it was morning. When I could finally see, Andy was there, lying there right next to me, watching me.
"What are you looking at?" I said to him.
"You!" He told me. "You even look beautiful in the morning". For some strange reason, when he said this my heart skipped a beat. I think I'm falling for him, I thought. I hadn't felt this way about anyone in such a long time. Even Roger never made me feel this way. Through my mind I began to recap the events of the night before, - God the sex was amazing! But Andy was so sweet and charming throughout dinner, just like he was in high school. There always was something between us. Just thinking about what we were like back in high school made me smile. We were the "it" couple, everyone talked about us, wanted what we had. We were so in love, even back then, which seemed like eons ago. And now we would have the chance to be in a relationship.
