Bella goes through some old jewelry. What will she find? More
important, how will she use her discovery? Better than it sounds.

I was bored. The Cullens were out hunting, so I had nothing to do.
I paced around my room and saw an old jewelry box. I never wear much jewelry, so I decided to go and look through it, who knew what was in
there? Okay fine, Alice might but...whatever!
Sighing I went over to it and took the lid off. I had organized it once: kids jewelry in one area, nice jewelry in another, and so on. Then my eyes
fell on a group of jewelry that I never thought I would own, but I guess I was wrong. It was church jewelry! Where had I gotten it from? Then I
remembered. Renee had once decided to try out church. Well, she decided to get me some jewelry for that, but since it didn't work out..well...all
of it was sort of forgotten.
I started thinking again. I had just watched "The Excorcist."Maybe when Alice tries taking me shopping I can use this!Hmm...makes me
wonder.Hey that's a good song! I love you, Maroon Five (A.N./is it 5 or five?)! Wow I'm random today!
I heard a clicking on my window, so I stowed the cross things in my pocket.
"Bella! I hope you weren't too bored while we were out hunting." As Edward said this I looked into his now light liquid gold eyes. I melted.
"I looked through some old jewelry and organized it. I t wasn't too boring", I said while feeling dazed. Why must he dazzle me!
"Good. Come on, we're going to my house", he said breathing his breath all over me.
When we got there five minutes later, (thanks to Edward's maniac driving) Alice bounded out and greeted us.
"Hi, Bella". she exclaimed.
"hi, Alice", I said warily.
When we got inside, she said,"I've got a surprise for you!"
"Not shopping! Don't let her do it!" I was almost sobbing.
"Come on. Don't ruin my fun." Alice really seemed disapointed. Dang it!
Then I remembered my jewelry. Taking it out of my pocket I shouted, "The power of Christ compells you, the power of Christ compells you!"
over and over again.
The Cullen's stared, then burst out laughing, even Carlisle! I was such a bright red I must have been the same shade as the Macey's star!
Alice forced me to go there.
"I knew...when...I saw...you...watching...The Excorcist...that...it would...rub off...on you!"Alice shrieked behind fits of laguhter.
"Besides", Jasper couldn't finish because Carlisle jumped in."You know that crosses don't do anything, I even own one!"
"And", Emmett jumped in,"Wouldn't you need Holy Water?" "Not that it would do anything", Esme was trying to be nice, unlike Rosalie who
said."I never thought that even you would be so stupid as to believe that."
I didn't want to go shopping", I confessed, still way too bright red.
