Blink
This is what happens when my sister says something that inspires me to right. My first attempt at only humor. It is also a oneshot.
Two people stood staring silently at eacg other. Who are these people you ask? Why, they are Sasuke ans Itachi Uchiha, of course! Why are they just staring at each other when they should be trying to kill one another you ask?
Well now! That's a story to tell. So I shall tell you how and why this staring contest got started by the two young men.
Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura are all 18 now. Yes, Naruto saved Sasuke from making the biggest mistake of his life...Now back to the plot! Itachi is now 24 years old. A little old for staring contests don't you think? Yeah, me too.
A normal day, a supposedly normal mission for Team 7, right? WRONG! The mission was a complete and utter failure thanks to one Itach Uchiha.
In a normally unseen fit of rage Sasuke lunged for his older brother with his hands curled wickedly in an attempt to strangle the smirking older man. Itachi moved to the side and Sasuke lunged forward again. Only this time he was met at the middle as Itachi tried to test the younger mans' strength. That all ended with two hands reaching out to grab the back of their heads.
The forest echoed with a hollow sounding thump and twin cries of pain. The two men sat down heavily clutching their injured forheads.
A sigh sounded from above them and Sasuke looked up. "Oi, Naruto! What the hell!" Sasuke hissed at the fox like youth.
"I'm going to go sit in that tree over there. You two are going to sit without moving or trying to harm one another until you both get over this meaningless feud!" Naruto snapped quite softly.
Sasuke cringed. 'Naruto's pissed!" His mind screamed at him. When Naruto lowered his voice to lecture someone it was best to run and hide else you could be caught in the middle of it. And when Naruto got angry it became very noticable that no one stuck around to watch the fireworks. Sasuke nodded mutely to appease the angered ninja.
Itach just stared. Where the hell had the loud mouthed youth gone? And just WHO was this quiet, calm, yet eerily scary, look alike? Where did he come from?
Naruto turned on Itachi. "AND YOU! I'm watching you Itachi. You even breath the wrong way and I'll shove a shuriken up your ass!" He snarled softly, blue eyes flashing nastily.
Itachi couldn't help but pale and nodded quickly to show that he understood.
Hence the staring contest between the two murderous brothers.
Sakura twitched every so often at because of the silence and also because of Naruto sharpening his weapons, LOUDLY.
After a particularly ear numbing scrape Itachi blinked and turned to stare at Naruto warily.
Sasuke shot to his feet. "HA! You blinked! I win!" He then disappeared into the underbrush to plot his revenge.
Itachi blinked again. All three ninja were gone. "Damn..." He muttered
