chapter 1

Grune was knocked by the astral plane and something happened after it dispersed Panthro didn't see Grune he figured he was gone for good but he saw something he didn't expect. Grune was turned into a newborn baby. "Oh boy," Lion-o said.

Cheetara picked Grune up. "Look at him he's kind of cute." she said.

"Maybe now he can have chance to have a loving family and know to make the right choice." Anet said.

Grune started crying. "What does he want?' Panthro asked.

Tygra saw Grune was reaching for Panthro. "I think I know what he wants," Tygra said.

"Well what does he want and that will get him to stop that crying." Panthro said.

"He wants you Panthro," Tygra said.

"Me?" Panthro asked.

"Yes I think he does want you," Lion-o said.

"Okay," Panthro said. He took Grune into his arms. "I got you now stop the waterworks," he said.

Grune snuggled into Panthro and began to purr. "Awe he likes you," Lion-o said.

"He is kind of cute," Panthro said.

"Since Grune just formed a bond with you, how about you raise him," Anet said.

"Me?" Panthro asked.

"Yes I see a vision Grune finally getting love and care he never received as a child and now growing into a fine and good man." Anet said.

"Okay I'll do it besides he starting to grow on me," Panthro said. He cradled Grune close to him.

Grune started crying again. "Uh oh what did I do?" Panthro said.

"He's probably hungry," Cheetara said.

"Don't worry we have milk and we will give to you for the cub," Anet said.

The milk was brought over and Grune started to suck on the bottle hungrily. "Hey come on slow down, it's not going anywhere." Panthro said starting to pull at it slightly. But Grune whined and try to grip the bottle to keep it from being taken. "Wow you're like me when it comes to food, you don't like it when it looks like it might be taken." he said with chuckle. Grune finished the bottle and burped.

Afterwards Grune was placed in diaper and wrapped up in a blanket. Panthro knew Grune needed a bassinet to sleep in and make sure it's secure. After a little work he made some adjustments to the Thundertank with the berbils' help and now the Thundertank had a built in baby bed. Grune was fast asleep and the battle with Mum-Ra's new generals didn't even wake him.

"Wow he is a sound sleeper." Lion-o said.

"He sure is," Tygra said.

Then Grune started crying. "So he sleeps through battle explosions but a little talking wakes him up," Wilykat said.

"That's so weird," Wilykit said.

Then Grune settled down and went right to sleep.

"Well that's how babies are," Cheetara said.

Soon they all hunkered down for the night and Panthro checked on Grune and went to bed himself.
