Hello all! IA here! I've been playing Majora's Mask, and I thought it would be cool to write a story of a girl who runs a carnival in her house to play games, who's aware what will happen and what Link's doing, keeping her memories each time Link sets time back. She's really scared each time, but her mask hides her emotions and gives her the ability to smile through all of this.

Her name is Maria, but I don't use it in the story because it feels more dramatic like this. I wrote it listening to Song of Storms.

Summary: There's a house in Clock Town, and when it rains music can be heard from inside. There is a girl who always smiles, running the games in the house. Better than it sounds.

. . . . .

Day 1

"Ah! Come to play?" Her voice rings out, a smile on her face. "Welcome to Maria's Carnival! Feel free to play any game!" Gesturing around, ring tosses and balloon popping games lining the wall with many more. And with a happy smile, Song of Storms is playing in here, she stands and waves for Link to come inside.

"Come, have a good time and a smile!" With a smile, she leads Link inside and shows him the games.

Day 2

She turns, a smile on her face despite the town's worries. "Hello Link! Come to play again, I see!" She laughs, pulling her dark brown hair into a ponytail. "Okay then! Today, all games are free, just for you! Now let's have a smile!" She laughs again, keeping a lighthearted mood, Song of Storms still playing.

The moon is getting closer and closer, everything takeing a dark and sad turn, but she kept smiling.

Day 3

She turns to face the door, smiling with tears streaking down her face. "Come to play again, I see. Make sure to have tons of fun, because today is the last day we'll be open. But don't fear! We'll smile until the end!" She still smiles, even though she knows whats going to happen. Song of Storms plays, but it seems slower and more depressing.

"Aren't you going to leave?" Link asks. "Nope! While everyone else flees, I'm going to stay right here with my precious Maria's Carnival until the end! Come now, play one last game." She says, smiling.

Last Hours

"Hello, Link. Come to play before the end?" She asks, wiping tears. "Thats good, because I have something for you." She's still smiling when she takes off her mask, and walks from behind the counter. Now Link can see the fear and sadness in her eyes, and her tears make sense. She gives a big smile, and leans down, holding out the mask in her hands.

"Link, this is the mask of Hidden Emotions. It can hide what your truly feeling. Maybe you'll have a use of it." The mask is white, a tiny sun on one side and a cresant moon on the other. Link takes it and gives her a hug and a smile before walking out. She smiles at the closed door.

"Make sure you survive, little time traveler. Save our town, Hero." And with a genunine smile, she dances and twirls to Song of Storms while the clock ticks, waiting to see if the moon will reach this time.

Day 1

She smiles at the wall, back turned to the door. 'Let's keep up the cycle. You'll have the power to save us one day.' She thinks, putting on her mask. The bells on the door make a chime, and Link walks in, mask hidden in his bag. She gives a great big smile, and turns around to face the hero.

"Ah! Come to play?"
