Dean POV

I woke up in the morning to a blinding light that caused me to cover my eyes with my blanket.

"Good morning prince Dean" A maid said with a soft smile

"Oh hey Hannah, can you put some clothes out for me I'm going out to sea today"

"Yes prince Dean" Hannah made her way to my closet and got some clothes out before turning to me.

"By the way Charlie is coming over today"

I groaned internally, see, Charlie is engaged to me but I'm gay so its a major problem and I suspect that she's actually a lesbian because she never takes interest in me and I occasionally catch her checking out some of the maids.

"Here's your outfit for today," Hannah said as she handed me the clothes and excused herself "Make sure you come back before 5"

I smiled and changed my clothes.

I looked out at the vast blue sea and inhaled, "How pretty" I whispered and boarded the boat.

I watched as the big village got further and further away until it was just a blur, I walked to the other side of the boat and stared down at the sea for a long time until I saw something move under the surface, I know that it wasn't a dolphin, a fish or even a shark, it was half blue and the other half looked tan.

"LOWER THE FISHING NETS" I yelled to the crew but the boat suddenly started to rock and I fell over the edge of the boat and sank into the great blue sea, I opened my eyes underwater and saw a shadow swim over me and then I lost my conscience, when I came to I was on a white sandy beach alone. I turned to my side and then realised I wasnt as alone as I thought I was, there sitting next to me was a breathtakingly handsome merman with intense blue eyes, dark hair and soft lips, the merman opened his mouth and spoke, "I am Castiel, what is your name?"

"M-my name is Dean Winchester" I never really believed in love at first sight until that moment.

Castiel and I talked for a long time, we talked about our likes and dislikes and our secrets and he told me how he wants to explore the surface as he continued talking I fell in love even more than when I first saw him.

"Hey Castiel, I gotta go back home its getting late" I said in a sad tone, I really didnt want to leave but Charlie was coming and I didnt want to get in trouble for being late.

"Ok Dean, meet me at the shore of the village tomorrow" Castiel said and he looked really happy. He took me back to my village and as I was leaving he grabbed my hand and pulled me down and kissed me, we continued kissing for a while and I ran my hand through his soft hair. We stopped kissing because I needed air and I held his face in my hands.

"I love you Dean"

"I love you too cas" I kissed his forehead and waved goodbye as I ran on the warm sand.
