Chapter 1: Electric Electrode.
Riley was a pokemon trainer. He had started his journey in Pewter City, and already had two badges- The BoulderBadge and The CascadeBadge. Currently, he was on his way to Saffron with his starter, Pichu (Pico), his first wild pokemon, Ralts (Kiri), and a Quagsire (Quag) that he caught.
"Look Pico, Saffron City!" he exclaimed, seeing the tall buildings of Saffron in the distance. "Piiiii!" Pico exclaimed. "When we get there, Sabrina will be begging for mercy." Riley laughed.
Suddenly, something hit him on the back of the head. Pico jumped off his shoulder, and stood facing an Ariados. Standing behind the Ariados, was a man, wearing a mask and a cape. "Pico, thundershock!" Rily yelled. The Ariados, quicker than the eye could follow, covered Pico in a sticky cocoon.
"Pico, return!" Riley yelled, putting Pico back in its pokeball. "What do you want?" he asked the masked man.
The masked man sent out an Electrode, after returning Ariados to its pokeball. "To be king." he replied calmly. "Electrode, Selfdestruct."
Riley turned to run, but the Electrode knocked him down. "EL-ECT-ROOOODE!" It yelled. Riley braced himself, preparing for death. Electrode rolled off of Riley. Riley looked up to see his cousin, Sabrina, looking down at him. The Electrode had fainted.
"Sabrina!" he hugged her. "Thank y-" Sabrina violently pushed him away. "Don't touch me. I can't be seen with a commoner like you." She turned to her Alakazam. "Alakazam, to the Gym!" Riley and Sabrina were both lifted off there feet.
Suddenly, Riley felt like he was on a roller coaster. When the world stopped spinning, he saw he was in the Gym.
"Riley, do you want to battle? Since you're my cousin, I will fight you one on one." Sabrina asked.
Riley nodded. "Marshbadge, here I come!"
