Darkness Is Circling Me (poem)

A poem I made for a friend who was going through some tough times. *cough* they know who they are. *cough* *cough*

Darkness Is Circling Me.

I try to find the light.
But I'm losing sight.
You try to help me.
But you can't see.
My troubles within.
I'm not going to win.
I try not to lose hope.
But I always seem to mope.
The words coming out of your lips.
Mean that I'm at my life's Eclipse.
For however long.
I'll keep going strong.
I'll see the sky.
My heart burning like a fire.
I don't know why.
But I'll keep going higher.
The Sun, Stars, and Moon.
I'll be able to see soon.
I may have the Dark typing.
But I'll never stop fighting.
I may be worthless.
I may be weak.
But I'm not hopeless.
Even if my life is bleak.
Don't shed a tear, because I'm not gone.
I'm still with everyone.
I will be legendary.
This is not a goodbye.
I won't leave, even if I see the sky.
We've all got battle scars.
But keep your hopes as high as the stars.
I may not be very known.
But who needs to know the unknown?
I make others laugh at me being a clown.
Even if I'm feeling down.
I create my own misery.
To bring others prosperity.
Sometimes I feel miserable.
And feel envious of Leaf and Flare.
I'm like Lazuli, unlovable.
But I'll find my Speed somewhere.
So I won't give up.
I won't give in.
I will be legendary.
I will leave a legacy.
