Is it getting better?
Or do you feel the same?
Will it make it easier on you now?
You got someone to blame
You say
--
Tonks stared out the open window into the night. In love with a werewolf. Not exactly every girls dream. The werewolf thing. She thought of Remus. The man, not the werewolf, was her dream. She loved him. So much. Too much.
--
One love
One life
When it's one need
In the night
One love
We get to share it
Leaves you baby if you
Don't care for it
--
Remus stood in the doorway of their room. Tonks sat on the window sill looking into the night. She was so beautiful. So funny, so wonderfully lovely. But she didn't deserve him. He stared at his pallid color. It was getting closer to the full moon. And soon he would have to run away, hoping she wouldn't come looking for him.
She turned, a smile lighting up her face, "Remus! You're home." She crossed the floor, and enveloped him in a kiss, hugging him to her.
--
Did I disappoint you?
Or leave a bad taste in your mouth?
You act like you never had love
And you want me to go without
--
Remus pulled away, his features wraught with pain and internal torture.
"I'm sorry, Tonks." He whispered, kissing her once more, than dashing out the door.
--
Well it's
Too late
Tonight
To drag the past out into the light
We're one, but we're not the same
We get to
Carry each other
Carry each other
One
--
"Remus, wait!" she screamed after him, her hand on her bulging belly, "Stay, please! Please, Remus!"
--
Have you come here for forgiveness?
Have you come to raise the dead?
Have you come here to play Jesus?
To the lepers in your head
--
Remus sat in the square outside number 12, grimmauld place, his head in his hands. Harry had turned him away, burning him with his words. He did not deserve anyone. He had gotten a beautiful wife, with a beautiful child on the way, and he had thrown them away...was it because he was trying to protect them? Or because he was trying to protect himself?
--
Did I ask too much?
More than a lot.
You gave me nothing,
Now it's all I got
We're one
But we're not the same
--
Tonks was in her mother's arms, crying. Her love, her life. Gone. He had gone. Because he thought she and the child would be better off without him. Her father had been killed. Her child couldn't grow up without a father now! She needed him so much. She needed him like she needed to breathe. She loved him
--
Well we
Hurt each other
Then we do it again
You say
Love is a temple
Love a higher law
Love is a temple
Love the higher law
You ask me to enter
But then you make me crawl
And I can't be holding on
To what you got
When all you got is hurt
--
Tonks saw him, standing there. He stood in the doorway, his cloak shabby and his hair messy. He hurt her. He hurt her so much. But he had come back. He had realized the error of his ways. It didn't matter anymore. All that mattered was that he was here. She ran over to him, and he enveloped her in his warm arms. He was here. Beside her.
--
One love
One blood
One life
You got to do what you should
One life
With each other
Sisters
Brothers
One life
But we're not the same
We get to
Carry each other
Carry each other
--
Remus pressed his lips against hers, "I will never leave you again."
She didn't need anything more than that. She kissed him again, and he picked her up in his arms. She was safe, she was with him. They were one.

One
