Swords of an Honorable Ruler

As you can tell, I have decided to use the title for Movie 3. I want to pay close attention to the interactions of Kagome and Sesshoumaru because there are many scenes where they communicate on a different level even though it is Kagome doing all the talking and bossing around lol =P. By the way for any of you that had seen the movie know what occurs in the beginning. For those of you that didn't see it I suggest you watch it first then read because of MAJOR SPOILERS! Hope you all enjoy my fanfic. Please Review!!

Chapter one

Inutaisho wanted so dearly to save his wife Izayoi (and child) from being in the castle under the protection of the samurai guard, Takemaru. Takemaru knew Inutaisho had arrived once he heard, "KAZE NO KIZU!" Inutaisho had used the Tetsusaiga to pierce through the walls surrounding the castle. An electric battle ensued between Takemaru and Inutaisho causing the inner and outer walls of the castle to become damaged with fire spreading from their intense battle. Inevitably Takemaru had suffered severe injuries. This was Inutaisho's chance to save his family. He followed the scent of a newborn and death. He found Izayoi dead in the burning flames with his little one wailing in her arms. Tenderly he lifts him up and held him in his arms while placing a loving kiss on his cheek. Then he acted quickly with the use of Tenseiga and resurrected Izayoi. Suddenly Takemaru burst through the door with rage, madness and jealousy in his eyes. Inutaisho then gives his mate the pup and pulls Izayoi in for a mouth searing kiss, knowing it will be his last tender moment with her.

He quickly tells her, "Run as fast as you can…and the child, his name is Inuyasha."

Izayoi was in a state of shock and fear and mumbled incoherently, "No…No I won't leave you, please come with us. You mustn't leave us!"

Takemaru watched this scene with malice in his heart. How could the woman he love, be with someone else? It was his fault entirely for not telling her his true intentions. Now the sickening sight of Inutaisho and Izayoi filled his heart with hatred. He took out his sword and charged at them with intentions to slice the Inutaisho head off, but Inutaisho moved with agility and strength by holding him by his neck and flinging him across the room.

"Listen to me my dear Izayoi I will always love you, no matter what but right now, if you value your life and Inuyasha's… go NOW" Inutaisho said to Izayoi. Her eyes became swelled with tears and she nodded with understanding. They heard debris falling and saw Takemaru stand with the blood from his wounds flowing freely.

Izayoi silently told her mate, "I love you".

And with that she held Inuyasha close to her and ran from the burning flames. The Taiyoukai looked on at his family with warmth in his eyes, knowing he will rest in peace because he protected them. His inner beast growled with contentment, but something was missing and that was blood lust. InuTaisho turned to the staggering Takemaru and said, "Today you die!"

They both knew they weren't making it out alive and so they fought to their death.
