A/N: My debut in the Dracula section! I won't say that it is also my last, but I wouldn't hold out for much else. Other than this, I've never really tried delving more into the fandom, but I might take a shot at it someday.
Anyway, this poem is from Mina's point of view, based off of the 1992 movie Bram Stoker's Dracula. It was very inspiring and I loved the romantic subplot that was added in based on other legends. So, take it as you like; I would appreciate feedback on the writing style and the tone as much as I would compliments on anything/everything else. Reviewers are always loved, and Dracula plushies for anyone who does.

Take Me

Take me.

Take all of me.

Take me where mountains climb

Into the clouds,

Where sunsets fade into endless nights.

Take me, my love, where the howling wolf

Meets the bright full moon.

Let the water run red as the

River flows through the canyon.

Take me,

Take me where the silent strains of violins

Are as intoxicating as a summer wine.

Take me where the gems of the earth

Glitter brighter than the stars in the sky.

Take me where the sword

Is mightier than the pen,

Where the lust for battle

Burns

As bright as the lust for all else.

Take me to where your true heart lies.

Take me to where your lost soul resides.

Take me, my prince!

Take me to this place of magic.

Take me…to Transylvania.

And for anyone who likes Yu-Gi-Oh!, poetry, or both, I would love it if you would check out my little archive of Yu-Gi-Oh! poetry entitled From the Heart. Come on, make a good (hopefully) author immensely happy!
