Sonic chronicles: Chapter One: Sonic's secret

In the midst of another battle with Eggman, Sonic dodges a missile, saying "Looks like you need to work on your aim!" and launches his own homing attack toward Eggman. Not such a good idea. Eggman had anticipated this, and simply moved out of the way, revealing a large hole in the wall. Sonic ended up going through that instead of hitting Eggman. Amy noticed this, and, flying the plane she and Tails built, flew toward Sonic and stretched out her hand. "Sonic!" she yelled, as she couldn't reach his hand, so she strapped on a parachute, set the plane on autopilot, and jumped, determined to save Sonic. She reached out for his hand again, and he did the same. One mile before Sonic hit the ground, Amy managed to grasp his hand while simultaneously letting her parachute out.

A week passed after that and Sonic was still thanking Amy for saving his life. He spotted her on a balcony, and decided to scare her- just a bit. He snuck up behind her, then loudly said "Hi Amy." What was the result? One very scared pink hedgehog. "Sonic! Don't do that!" she said. "Heh, sorry, but I couldn't help myself." Amy continued by saying something completely off subject. "Hey Sonic, what's it like, running from place to place so fast?" Sonic, not surprised about the subject change, replied "Well, it actually can get annoying. The worst part is bugs. Yuck." Amy giggled at this, and said "It can't be worse than listening to Knuckles and Rouge arguing…" Sonic laughed, and they talked for a while. Before either of them knew it, Sonic was holding Amy in his arms. Then, he did the one thing that made Amy's heart pound faster than Sonic could run. Sonic kissed her. He kissed her right on the lips. Once they broke apart, Sonic said the one thing Amy had only dreamed he would say to her. He leaned closer and whispered in her ear these three words: "I love you"
