I walked through the doors of the church all dressed in white.
I had his box of letters in the passenger seat, and when the church doors opened up wide I breathed in deeply putting the veil down trying to hide my tears.
I just can't believe it I heard the trumpets from the military band.

The congregation all stood up and sang the saddest song, I've ever herded. A military man then came up to me and handed me a folded up flag and I held on to all I have left of him and what could've been.
Then guns rang one last shot and it felt like a bullet in my damaged heart.
