"…*sigh*… Dealing with annoying slacker co-workers is such a pain." I muttered to myself out exhaustion and annoyance as I sat by myself in the train station, waiting for my ride to arrive so that I can go home.
I had to take the brunt of the manager's anger because the slackers blamed me for being too bossy, causing them to lose what little motivation they had to do any work. Since I didn't want to piss him off even more that he would fire me, I just shut up and let him tell me off before he sends me off to do more work than my co-workers were supposed to do.
I really hate those two slacker.
…But in all honesty, I'm just annoyed because there's nothing new and exciting happening in my boring daily life. I always wake up, take the train to go to work, hoping that my shift doesn't end up with the slackers, do my job as a salaryman, go home while eating some takeout before going to sleep to repeat the cycle. Other than watching anime in my free days, my life is nothing more but boring lifestyle with a bash annoyances when dealing slackers.
*Ring~* *Ring~*
I heard the unmistakable ringtone from my phone, the ringtone that gives the signal that I've got a new message. So I took out my phone from my pocket and turned it on to see who the messenger is… I just hope that it's not my boss who finally decided to fire me.
"What's this?" I said out loud when an unknown message was sent to my mail, with the title of the message called [An Adventure Awaits!]. Being bored out of my mind, I clicked the message to open in order to past the time…
Welcome, new [Gamer]! You have been randomly selected to become one of the [Gamers] and will be randomly deposited into a world via random number generator!
"Oh, and how am I supposed to be dropped this random world?" I ask my phone out loud, not taking the message seriously. I mean, getting thrown into a different world via RNG? The world isn't some Gacha game like F/GO, so that's complete imp-
*Ring~* *Ring~*
Af if the sender heard my words, another message pop-up on my phone and it somehow opened itself up with the words:
In order for that to happen, you have to die first.
…Ok, I think I have my fun now. I have to contact the police about this weird-
*Tap…* *Tap…* *Tap…*
Before I could think of a plan, I heard footsteps enter the station…
*Tap* *Tap* *Tap*
And based on how it's getting louder, I do believe the person is walking closer towards me…
It's probably another person taking the same train as I am and probably wants to take a sit since there are free sits beside me. I mean, the odds of the person that sent me those two weird messages would the same person that just entered the station?
*Tap!* *Tap!* *Tap!*
*Tap!*
…
…
…I turned to my left in order see the person from the corner of my eye-
*BANG!*
And before I knew what just happened, everything faded to black.
"Grmmm… My head…" I groaned while getting up from whatever I'm sleeping on right now…
!?
My eyes wide as I remember the messages that I got before a person showed and shot me in the head. Even if I didn't get to see the person that 'killed' me, I can make the logical conclusion that I was shot point-blank which would logically-
What. The. Fuck?
My eyes widen even further if that's even possible, with the pain in my head gone and my questions about my attack as I'm unable to process the thing that I'm seeing right now into my brain. I'm currently staring at a menu screen, exactly like the kind that players would find in a video game. Seems normal, right? Well, it would be if it wasn't for the fact that it's floating in midair…
…So that message was serious about me getting isekai'd!? If I was supposed to be isekai'd, why didn't trunk-kun did the job!?
But in all seriousness, how am I supposed to know
With no other options and no way to dismiss the menu, I pressed the start button. The screen immediately changed to a Paragraph-long welcome menu that read as such:
Believe the messages now? Good, because this will be the last one you'll get from me.
Like I wanted one from you in the place.
You've been transported into the [Type Moon] universe, in an alternate reality of the [Fate/Series]! In order to make this transition as smooth as possible, we have slightly altered this universe so that to everyone else, you have always existed!
Well, that's it. Have fun, and don't die too early!
…Wait, [Fate/Series]? This isn't good news at all! I can't possibly be in a-

If I don't know how strong-

…Ok, I didn't expect that my new ability would be thought base since some abilities either need a hand motion and speak out loud to work. Well, this certainly helps to prevent me from looking like a weirdo by staying shit or moving my hands in the air.
So, did I become a Pseudo-Servant? Servants in from [Type-Moon] always have their stats ranked by letters, plus I have an A++ for NP that obviously stands for Noble Phantasm… Which I have for check out because I don't know what kind of NP that I have and especially why it has such a high Rank.

Skills List:
[Gamer's Mind] - Passive -
Description: Allows the user to calmly and logically think things through in most circumstances. Allows a peaceful state of mind. Immunity to psychological and mental status effects.
[Gamer's Body] - (Default) - Passive -
Description: Grant's a body that allows the user to live the real world like a game. Pain from damage does not last after a few seconds. Sleeping restores HP, MP and heals all temporary status effects.
Class Skills:
[Divinity] - Rank: B - Passive -
Description: The measure of whether one has Divine Spirit aptitude or not. At high levels, one is treated as a mixed race of a Divine Spirit, and the level declines when the Heroic Spirit's own rank as a Monster or Demonic Beast raises. It can also decrease due to one's dislike for the gods. Those who have A Rank Divinity or above have reached the Throne of Gods. It also has an effect which reduces special defensive values called 'purge defence' in proportion to the Divinity's Rank. It can break through Skills such as Protection of the Faith and Enlightenment of the Sacred Fig.
[Magic Resistance] - Rank: A - Passive -Description: grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Cancel spells of A-Rank or below, no matter what High-Thaumaturgy it is. In practice, the Servant is untouchable to modern magi, so it would not be an exaggeration to title the Servant a 'Magus Killer'.
[Possession Inheritance] - Rank: ? - Passive -
Description: A unique Skill that Demi-Servants possess. A Succeed Phantasm. One of the Skills that the possessing Heroic Spirit owns is inherited and sublimated in a self-taught manner. In this case, it would be Primordial Rune (Warrior)'. A Skill of the same type as 'Primordial Rune', the possession of and knowledge about Runes that came from an older era.
[Riding] - Rank: A - Passive -
Description: A Class Skill of Rider and Saber class Servants, denoting the ability to ride mounts and vehicles. With a Rank of A, most vehicles and animals can be handled with above-average skill. However, cannot ride the likes of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast.
Personal Skill:
[Runes of the Völsunga King] - Rank: C - Active - MP cost: Variable -
Description: A skill that allows the user to use Runes as a means of using magecraft, but the rank is lower compared to the original skill of the Servant due to being just self-taught.
[Dragon Kind Modification] - Rank: EX - Passive -
Description: An extreme form of 'Self-Modification' that's achieved by swallowing a dragon's heart. This creates a dragon-kind mana reactor core, allowing the user to mobilize almost completely independently despite being a Servant and survive near-fatal injuries as long as the core and head are intact.
[Crystallized Wisdom] - Rank: A - Passive -
Description: A crystallized form of wisdom gained by eating the heart of a dragon, which is shaped into a magical item that originally shouldn't exist in mythology. This allows the user to do a quick analysis in nearly all situations. If another individual uses it, due to the enormous amount of information, a severe headache will occur.
Noble Phantasm:
[Gram: Dawn of Ruin] - Rank: A+ - Active - Type: Anti-Unit - MP cost: 90 -
Description: The 'Sword of the Sun' wielded by Sigurd in the Völsunga saga of Norse Mythology. It was originally an enchanted sword wielded and pulled from the trunk of a mighty tree by a descendant of Odin, Sigmund; later, it shattered from clashing against Gungnir and was reforged anew into a cursed demonic blade that was capable of killing even the evil dragon Fafnir.
After that, it became renowned as a 'Demonic sword of both glory and ruin' that's said to be the strongest demonic sword that can only be matched by the strongest holy sword, [Excalibur]. The weapon is said to appear in the Der Ring des Nibelungen, a legend of a knight equal to that of King Arthur under the appearance of [Balmung], but it is rather called the 'origin' of [Balmung] that was wielded by Siegfried.
[Bölverk Gram: Heaven's Wheel of Destruction] - Rank: A++ - Active - Type: Anti-Fortress - MP cost: 1000 -
Description: [Gram]'s full power released, which is an Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm compared to the original Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm.
Ok, I'm actually a Demi-Servant and the Servant I'm fused with is the Norse counterpart of Siegfried the Dragonslayer, Sigurd. Despite not knowing everything about his legend, I know enough to recognise the name of his sword [Gram]. Plus, the comment about Siegfried certainly helped a lot with the deduction.
Well, I'm kinda overpowered when in Servant mode. Having such powerful Skills with only one that uses some MP to activate, and a sword that can (possibly) fire a beam like a true [Saber]!
Mentally closing the pop-up window, I began to look around my surroundings to find myself in a forest area with a massive lake on the side… Real original, dropping a guy in a forest like I'm some dead body to be disposed of.
I let out a sigh before walking over to the lake. Once I was near the water, I took a look of myself to see that my eyes are now glowing bright blue and I have a new pair of glasses… These must be the [Crystalized Wisdom]. A bit weird that I didn't realise that my original glasses were replaced by a magical pair-
-!?
I backed away from the lake the second I saw a massive shadow suddenly appear water, all while possibilities on what the creature is based on its length, mass and the tingling sensation that I'm feeling are entering my head in such high speed and I can actually understand them when I normally couldn't… So this is how the glasses work? Seems pretty overpowered from a tactical perspective.
But just before the creature could finally reveal itself, the [Crystalized Wisdom] came to a single conclusion and I can actually believe it. After all, there's only one thing that big and can make me react so seriously that I want to kill it: A Dragon.
The dragon's head is similar to a Viper, with deep blue scales that looked very sleek, fin-like ears on the side of its head and blue-green eyes that stared at my own.
"I asked of you," The Dragon spoke in a feminine voice once it's head out of the water, surprising me a bit as I didn't expect the dragon having the ability to talk… Must be a thing of dragons in this world "Why are you in my territory?"
…Ok, based on the fact that she (if the dragon is really a woman) didn't attack me out of the blue shows that she's not a violent kind of dragon similar to Fafnir. Now I have to think about what I should respond to her question because the wrong thing to say will surely cause things to end badly. I have to convince her that I'm not a threat (ignoring the fact that I'm fused with an OP Servant that's famous for killing a dragon), I'm lost since I'm not from this world and get some info from her about this world.
"Well?"
"…Would you believe that I'm not from this world?" I answered her question with my own, coming to the conclusion that being honest without using threats would bring me the best outcome.
"Not from this world?" The dragon asked, glaring at me out of annoyance and confusion. I can understand in her place because I would react the same way if someone said that me if none of this isekai business was real "What nonsense do you speak off? The only being that can travel between worlds is that undying Wizard with his multi-dimensional Magic. Besides, I can sense the presence of a Servant in you."
"It's the truth." I said while kneeling down with hands on my knees, making myself look as harmless as I can be by making myself look smaller than before "I was suddenly pulled from my world and dropped off here. I don't know the nearest town."
"Then state your name and birthplace. I shall see if you are lying or not." She ordered while moving her head closer to me, looking down at me with "…And if you were lying, then I'll make sure that you will be nothing by leftovers for fishes."
Alright, better not screw this up "My name is John Diego Segui, a Filipino turned Irish. My day of birth 26th April 1989 and my birthplace is Makati City, Manila."
The dragon looked at me for a few seconds, trying to see if I was lying or not. I just continued to stay still as I kneel, making no sudden movement to prevent myself from looking suspicious.
"…You speak no lies." The Dragon said, seemingly satisfied with her finding as she moved her head away from me. I let out a sigh of relief, glad that things didn't go to hell "Now tell me, why were you sent to here from your own?"
"Well, I was on my way back home when I received a really weird message. Bored out of my mind during that time, so I took a look of it and the letter said that I was one of the few chosen people to be sent to another world… But I had to die first." I explained to the dragon, who nodded as if she's urging me to go on "I was shocked and a bit scared from reading that I wanted to call for some help, but someone suddenly approached me before firing a bullet through my skull… And here I am now."
"Interesting… Never in my existence that I have heard off such a brutal way of dimension hopping." The dragon mused, her lack of sympathy towards what happened to me pretty much cements her as completely apathetic towards human lives in my book "It appears that Lady Luck has graced you with bad luck."
I looked at her seriously, ignoring the jab at my E Rank Luc "Ok, can I ask you a few questions about this world?"
The dragon looked at me for a few seconds before nodding slightly "I will answer any question possible, seeing as you are unfamiliar with it."
-a few hours later -
"Man, to think she would know so much despite not leaving that lake for God knows how long…" I said to myself while I made myself out of the forest, all the while summarizing about the answers that the dragon gave to me.
I'm in an alternate version of /Stay Night. While the venue and events that happened in the first two HGW remained the same, the Einzbern Family did something very different for the Third War: They created a homunculus to be a Demi-Servant.
And based on her words, that fight happened awhile ago which is translated in our time: decades ago. She didn't tell me how everything went down as she only watched during the climax of the last war when she was awake due to all of the noise. She was the reason why the Third War ended with no winner: She attacked the Servants and Masters when they took the fight within her territory and, somehow, killed all four of them without any difficulty.
That actually made me glad that I didn't attack her because I'll probably end up as 'leftovers for the fishes' just as she warned me.
But the fact that a Demi-Servant lost in placed of Angra Avenger meant one thing. I might be over thinking things, but it's a possibility: The Grail must be corrupted by the Demi-Servant, changing the original iron-clad rule for the participants in the Fourth Holy Grail War.
It will no longer just be a Battle Royal of Master/Servant pairs. No, it will be a fight between Masters as Demi-Servants similar to the [Class Cards] in the Ainsworth Holy Grail War within Miyu Sakatsuki's world.
I let out a sigh, wondering what kind of God did I piss off to be dragged into this kind shit. But I know that I have no time to complain since I have to prepare for my survival in this war.
First things first, I need a base of operation… And I know the right place, just hope I can get the house before Kiritsugu, Irisviel and Maiya.
