Haru stopped Elie from falling on the ground, and then picked her up bridal style.
"Are you okay, Elie?"
"Yeah, thanks! Um, you can put me down now."
"Not a chance, clumsy! Besides, you're not heavy at all."
"Why would you say that, idiot?"
"Because I like you, you dummy!"
"Oh. Well, in that case, I like you too. I mean, you're always there for me; even when I get testy."
"I'll never leave your side, Elie."
They both kissed and lived happily ever after.
