Mizu felt childish for her actions, but in reality, who wouldn't be screaming over the ice-cream truck. The smiles that stretched onto Rin, Valkyre's, and the bluenette's face were big, and in Mizu's mind, Girls Day just got a whole lot better.
The three jogged up to the curb, waving the ice cream man down until he pulled over and poked his head out.
"Hello, ladies, what would you three like!" the man smiled, his hand waving to the side of the truck where an assortment of delicious frozen treats were listed.
Mizu licked her lips as her eyes trailed down the section, finding the one she wanted and already knowing what the girls would like she perked up, "a medium minty-mint chocolate chip, a medium mouse tracks, and another medium but birthday cake,"
Valkyre and Rin stood on either side of Mizu, excitement were obvious in their green, emerald eyes, "alrighty then, ma'am, that'll be 15.50." Mizu frowned as she shuffled through her money, Rin and Valkyre looking at their blue haired friend.
"I only have 8 dollars," Mizu pursed her lips as she raised her eyebrows at her two friends, who both shook their head. Mizu frowned, she looked at the floor and thought.
She sure as hell was not losing the chance of getting ice cream from the ice cream man. This only ever happened once in a blue moon.
Mizu looked up as she felt something touch her, facing Valkyre, she noticed where she was pointing.
"Oh my god, Gaj-" Mizu threw her hand over Rin's mouth.
"Shut it, I got a plan," Mizu raised her hand from the shy girls face and jogged over to the boys before grabbing Gray's hand and turning him around.
The raven haired boy gasped as he was forced to face the small bluenette, "oh, hey Mizu what'cha do-mmmmnn" He was interupted by her putting her hand on the back of his neck and crashing her lips against hers, Gray only smirked against her pale pink lips and kissed back.
Turns out he caught the bait.
Gajeel and Laxus, who were awkwardly watching whistled as the hand not occupying his neck left his shoulder and slid down to his wrist, she snaked her arm around his lower back and slid her hand into his back pocket, her fingers feeling around for the needed item, finally her fingers curled around the brown leather item, and within a few seconds afterwards – she wanted to at least enjoy the couples lip locking for just a bit longer – pulled away and smiled.
"W-what was that for?" Gray blinked, almost dazed.
Mizu only smirked, tossed the wallet into the air and speaking, "thank you, I'll now leave you to your hang out," she saluted, turned on her heels and rushed back.
"Here," Mizu giggled as she handed the ice cream man, who was laughing at the shouting from the thieves boy friend, and the confused, dazed yet amused expressions on Mizu's friends faces.
Mizu smiled as she handed Valkyrie and Rin their ice creams as she happily licked her own treat, the sounds of laughing and 'why didn't you just ask me for the money' repedietly demanded as she tuned out the world and enjoyed her minty-mint chocolate chip ice cream.
