Elizabeth dropped her phone ran out the door. The bus just came to her stop and she wasn't there. She had to get on the bus. Her parents weren't going to be happy if she missed the bus. And turned the corner and saw the bus. She ran as fast as her little feet could carry her.
She just barely made it on the bus, and started looking around or seats. Most of the front seats were full, and the back was full of teachers. That let the middle of the bus. She slowly walked forward, glancing at people. There was a total of six seats free.
About four of them moved their bags in the seat next to them. Elizabeth sighed. "what a way to start my day."
She noticed a Golden-blonde haired teen staring out the window, eyes glazed over. She tapped his shoulder to get his attention. He pulled out his earbuds.
"Yes? Anything I can help you with?"
"Is it ok if I can sit with you? I have no where else to sit. An I hope you don't mind." Elizabeth said glancing at the kids with bags next to them, on the seats.
"Sure, go right ahead. I'm sure that you don't want to stand there. Right?" He said patting the seat. "Besides, no one ever sits with me anyway."
"May I ask why?" Elizabeth asked curiously.
"They're afraid of me! Well, only if they treat me like trash."
Elizabeth gasped. "There are people like that at Mountain View High?"
"Yeah, I'm one of them, but only if they threaten and/or hurt me and my friends. Like this dumbass behind us here." He said smirking.
"Who you callin' a dumbass cap'n?" The teen said.
"Ban, I told you to stop calling me that. After you Escanor went to college we disbanded, remember?" The Captain reminded him.
"Then can this girl be his replacement?" the teen whose name was Ban said.
"No, she probably isn't into fighting. Right?" The Captain said turning to Elizabeth.
Elizabeth blushed from the sudden attention. "No, I don't like fighting. I try to get out of it when my mother, father, and sisters fight."
"Well there you go Ban. She doesn't want to fight!"
"Aye cap'n. I get it now. Calm down."
Elizabeth giggled which drew the attention of the two teens. They laughed at her red face. Elizabeth playfully punched the Captain's shoulder. He gasped and stared at her playfully. "This girl needs to be punished. Ban, find her ticklish spot."
Elizabeth paused. He only ticklish spot was her hips. He gasped as Ban found her ticklish spot right away. She withered in his grasp. Ban stopped and Elizabeth noticed that he nodded to the Captain.
The kind boy placed his fingers down at her waist and placed his nails softly and trailed them around her. Elizabeth moaned, which surprised both. Meliodas stopped trailing and started just tickling her. Elizabeth gasped and started giggling and laughing.
"Please. Please stop. That tickles." Elizabeth said gasping for air.
The teen withdrew his fingers and sat down, trying to calm himself. "What's your name. Mine is Meliodas."
"El- Eli- Elizabeth." Elizabeth said between breaths. They really made her out of breath. The bus stopped and they started filling off the bus.
"Hey, let's get our schedules together. Ban, find the others. Bring them to the office." Meliodas said grabbing Elizabeth's arm. It sent shocks up her arm, but she gladly stayed. She might like this school after all. They ran inside and they zig-zagged throughout the school, finally walking into the office.
"Hello Meliodas. I see you have a new friend. And what brings you to the office?" The principal says. "Hello Elizabeth. Miss me?"
Meliodas glanced at Elizabeth. Her face was as white as paper. Her face as clear as day. "Did you do something to Elizabeth?"
"Oh, Meliodas, coming to save the princess." The Principal said.
Elizabeth tensed. The Principal noticed this. "Oh, so you haven't told him? Well then. I will." He turned to Meliodas. "This here, is the third princess, of Britannia. Why she would come to a school full of Muts, I don't know, but here she is. Acting like she belongs here."
Meliodas turned to Elizabeth. She was visibly crying. "Elizabeth." She tensed more. "Elizabeth, I may not know you much, but I can tell that this disturbs you. Do you want to leave the office, and then I get the schedules, or do you want to stay with me?"
She looked at Meliodas in horror. "You find out I'm a runaway princess and your asking me these questions as if they never came to mind!" She said, but she hugged him. "How could I ever meet a friend like you?"
Meliodas was surprised at first, but he wrapped his arms around her. She cried in his shoulder for some time before she started to stare at him. He felt the principal touch a soft spot. He hissed and turned back to the principal. "Don't touch me. Or you'll know something that others don't." Meliodas growled.
Elizabeth tapped on his shoulder and he turned. "Calm down. I don't want to see this side of you. Nor do I want to be brought into this."
Meliodas lowered his head. His hair covering his eyes. He couldn't watch her face. She looked so much like Liz. But was so different. She was so calm, not in the mood to fight. Elizabeth was so different. He looked at her face. She smiled again. His eyes widened. Could she- No not possible. He brought his head down again. Without meaning to tears started forming. He quickly wiped them.
Elizabeth grabbed his head and pulled him into a hug. She felt tears on her shoulder. She gave Meliodas some kisses in his hair and a kiss on his cheek. He calmed down. "I'm sorry." She heard him say. "I'm sorry or this mess. If you hadn't stopped me, you would've known a secret so dark that you would fear me."
Elizabeth smiled. "Hey. I have secrets too. I will show you one soon, but not now. Not until I know you better. But I won't expect you to show me or tell me yours." Elizabeth kissed Meliodas I his hair. "Now, how about those schedules?" She said giving the principal a deadly glare. "My father used to own this school, but he is still king.
The principal grimaced and handed them their schedules. "Also, I would like his friend's schedules. They will be meeting me shortly, but I will like to give them their schedules." Elizabeth added.
The principal stared at Meliodas. "Well, start listing their names."
The shock from Elizabeth's glare was still on his face. "Oh, right. Ban, King, Diane, Merlin, Gowther, Es- No not him. Uhm, Elaine, and that's just about it."
"Ok, here are their schedules. Princess Elizabeth, I expect good grades. I hope hanging out with these fools don't change that."
"I'll have you know that Meliodas and his friends are not fools. I do not care if I get bad grades. I don't get attention anyway. So, why would it make a difference. Tell him all you like. I'm not staying away from them." Elizabeth said. Her chest was heaving. Meliodas placed his hands on her shoulders.
"Thanks for saying all that. You don't need to defend us. But you really shouldn't hang out with us. We're trouble and we don't want to get you in trouble." Meliodas said smiling.
Elizabeth shook her head. "You've shown me kindness where others have not. I am staying with you guys. Even if it gets me in trouble."
"OK. Come on we have friends to meet with." Meliodas said, walking out the door. He nearly bumped into a shorter teen.
"Oh Captain, sorry. I was just about to walk in when I heard you talking to someone." She paused and saw a girl next to him. "Captain, is this your new Girlfriend?"
Meliodas dropped his head and clenched his hands while Elizabeth blushed. "N-no. I'm not Meliodas's Girlfriend. We just met on the bus today." She noticed how Meliodas's head had dropped again.
She lowered her head near his head. "I won't expect you to tell me what happened, but at least stay happy. Today is the first day of school, and I'm new here. At least let me have a great day."
Meliodas nodded his hands and unclenched his hands. "OK, let's have a great day." He said lifting his head and smiling. He smirked and then suddenly appeared groping Elizabeth's chest.
"Meliodas! That's not what I mean!" Elizabeth said, her face and neck turning into a bright red. Almost like a strawberry.
"OK, well, here are my friends. Let's get to know each other before the year gets crappy. Now, shall we have fun while we still can?" Meliodas said smirking. He smiled and Lifted his hand. "Come on. Let's go have some fun." Elizabeth nodded and placed her hand in his, and sped off.
