Prompt: Food. This is open to interpretation. The only requirement is that your 100-word drabble feature some reference to food or eating.
"I know something you don't."
Rodolphus turns around slowly.
The voice belongs to thirteen-year-old Bellatrix Black. She lolls against the window, toying with a Liquorice Wand - but she doesn't seem as insouciant as she would like him to believe. Her gaze is curiously hungry.
He isn't supposed to encourage her. He's had enough bloody warnings about it.
"What?" she taunts. "Not even going to ask?"
"Get to class, Black."
Bellatrix's expression flickers, almost hurt -
And then she whips him across the wrist with the Liquorice Wand.
She laughs . . . and takes a bite.
