So, this is just a one-shot, and I got the idea from some other stories I've been reading recently. It is kinda sad, but I hope you like it. It has a happy ending, and it's my first one-shot, so let me know what you think!

Sonny stared in the mirror and tried her best not to think about what she saw, but she couldn't help but stare at her flaws.

She was bigger than all the other girls,

Her hair never did what she wanted it to,

Her skin was about as far as it could be from flawless.

If only she had someone that loved her, someone that told her she was perfect,

But she didn't have that person in her life anymore,

He had become too obsessed with himself and no longer cared about her.

Now she was alone,

With no one to care for her,

No one to catch her tears,

And no one to tell her that he loved her.

She had never stopped loving him,

Yet he had stopped showing her that he loved her,

And it broke her heart.

If only Chad hadn't was here right now,

Maybe then she would be laughing,

Instead of crying.

But it was too late now,

He had already taken Sonny's heart,

And he ripped it to shreds.

Now, as tears ran down her face,

Sonny knew that she shouldn't be trying to make herself perfect like the other girls,

But she couldn't help it.

She had to do it,

She had no reason to live any longer.

She had written a letter to her friends,

Saying that she was sorry for taking their time,

Time they could never get back.

She wrote a letter to Chad saying that she never stopped loving him,

And now she was ready to end all of her pain.

But was she held the knife to her wrist,

She heard her door open quietly.

She took a deep breath and ignored whoever had come in,

And she was about to make the cut.

But, as she was just beginning,

Someone put their arms around her.

They took the knife out of her shaking hand, and they kissed her.

She didn't need to look to know who it was:

"Chad Dylan Cooper!

Get out of here now!

I don't want you here.

Please, just let me end this."

Sonny screamed.

But Chad didn't let go.

He turned Sonny towards him

And pulled her into his chest.

He saw all of the scars on her arm;

He saw how much weight she had lost.

He yelled at himself mentally,

Because he knew he had caused her this pain.

All he wanted to do was keep her happy,

Because he didn't think that he was good enough for her.

He never hung out with her friends,

And it was hard for him to find time in his busy schedule for her.

"Sonny,"

He said as she pushed herself away from him.

"Shut up!"

She screamed.

"Please," he begged.

"Just let me explain."

"I don't want an explanation." she cried.

He took a deep breath,

"Then just let me tell you that I love you,

And I never stopped loving you.

I just didn't think I was making you happy.

I thought that you needed someone who could be there for you more often

Since your schedule and my schedule hardly allow any time for us.

Please forgive me, Sonny."

Sonny sighed and buried her head in his chest.

"But why do you want me back now?

Look at me!"

Chad looked at her and smiled,

"You're perfect, Sonny.

You always have been,

I want the old Sonny back though,

I miss her smile,

And her laugh.

I miss the way she used to yell my name when I'd walk into the room,

And I miss her kisses.

I miss her hugs,

And I miss how close we used to be.

Please, forgive me,

And take me back.

I don't know how much longer I can go on without you.

Please, I love you."

Sonny smiled and gently kissed Chad's lips,

"I love you too."
