A child's cry could be heard all the way through the forest. Its cry fell on deaf ears as there was no human in sight. A few Pokémon pricked their ears at the child's cry but soon turned away from the child. A red blur could be seen flashing past the trees at speed but it was stopped in its flight as the child let out another ear-piercing wail. The red blur was known as the legendary Pokémon Latias and she was on her way to meet with the other legendries at the Hall of Origin. Latias swiftly flew towards the human, feeling pity for the small child left alone in the forest. As Latias spotted the child she was overcome with sadness as the little child lay before her, it was unlike all the other humans and their children she had seen, her hair was a snow white with perfectly pitch black streaks in her hair and she had silver and midnight blue eyes that were slowly filling with tears as she started to realize that she was alone and no-one was coming for her but as her tear filled eyes landed on Latias she stopped crying and smiled at the Pokémon as if to say that she knew that she was safe. Latias couldn't take her eyes of the human child, she looked no older than seven years old but there was just something about her that intrigued Latias. The girl reached her hand out to touch her and she moved forward a little and the girl's hand rested on her head and a shock jolted through Latias at the touch. She felt a wave of emotions flow into her, she felt the girl's sadness and hurt along with happiness at meeting her. As the wave of emotions passed she knew that she didn't have the heart to leave the girl in the middle of the forest so she helped the child onto her back and flew off towards the Hall of Origin and the other legendries with a little girl on her back.
Latias reached the Hall of Origin in a short time and as she entered the white pillared halls of Arceus's home she spotted the other legendaries all gathering around her, trying to look at the small child on her back. Latias decided to head striaght to Arceus and find out what she was going to do with this little girl. I t wasn't very hard to find the creator pokemon, he was standing at the very end of the hallway of pillars and as Latias aproched he turned his head to look at her. That's when he noticed the girl on her back and he walked forward and stood infront of her, glancing at the child before speaking to Latias.
"Why have you brought this human child to the Hall of Origin, Latias?" Arceus asked, an underlying tone of anger in his voice.
"She was left in the forest with no-one around to help her, I couldn't just leave her there" Latias replied and slid the little girl off her back and sat her on the floor. The girl just stared up at Arceus with curiosity in her eyes and she reached forward and touched on of Arceus's hooves. A jolt ran through Arceus and he moved away from the touch but the gir still hang on to him and all of a sudden Arceus stopped moving away and stood still, letting the child touch his golden hoof.
"We shall watch over this young child and protect her to the best of our abilitys but she needs a name"
"How about Luna" Latias suggested and Arceus nodded and with that he turned and gathered all the other legendaries and told them that the child would stay with them.
Please be nice and review because this is my first fanfiction story and I would like it to go well. Tell me anything that I need to work on but I know that I have a LOT of spelling mistakes( english isn't my best subject ) although I am really busy now with my school work so I might not continue this story unless I get some good reviews and my math teacher is nice and doesn't give me too much homework( stupid equations ).
