"Headfirst"
"Is this okay?" His arms are wrapped firmly around her waist, his chin resting on her head. She nods, burying her face in his scarf, breathing in his wondrous scent and losing herself in his warmth. She feels Natsu's rumbling, joyful laughter, and she feels her lips tugging into a smile.
They are at his house, and moonlight streams into the dark room from the open window, the night breeze tickling their bodies. Juvia's lips were still tingling from his kisses, and her heart beats so loudly she wonders if Natsu could hear it. He probably could, with his keen senses and all.
She feels his fingers tracing the smooth skin of her cheek, and a soft giggle tumbles through her lips. She pulls away so that they are lying side by side staring at each other. She drinks in the image of his messy, salmon spikes, his lively, olive eyes, and that bright, toothy smile etched on his handsome face. Juvia wants to imprint this image in her heart.
"Juvia loves Natsu very much," the water mage says softly, and the words ring with sincerity and truth. Natsu was her friend, her lover, her heart. He made her laugh, smile, and forgot all of her worries. He was there for her when she got over Gray, wiping her tears and easing her fears. He patiently mended her broken heart, showing her that love was sometimes in the unlikeliest of places.
He presses a kiss to her forehead, her eyelids, her cheeks, her nose, and finally, her lips, savoring her unique taste.
"Natsu loves his Juvia very much too," he teases, and he laughs when Juvia punches him on the shoulder. She can't help but laugh herself; Natsu's laughter and joy are contagious, and she's not immune to their effects.
He's a goofball, but he's her goofball, and she wouldn't want it any other way.
