Hello sweetie!

Those were the words; the words that kept on repeating, over and over again like a broken record, those words over and over again in his mind. Who was she, he wondered? Every minute of every day he wondered this… This woman, who was she? And how come she knew so, so much about him, for it seemed she knew it all. His whole history, who he was, what he did and… where he was from. She even knew his name. She leant in and whispered his name in his ear and right then and there he knew that there would be only one reason for as to why he had done it. There would be only one time he could.

He knew absolutely nothing about her; she was to him a complete mystery… a stranger from his not so distant future. But he did know her, this according to her anyway. That was if he were to take her word for it and he had to, didn't he? They would meet again in the future… Or that was what she said.

She was very cryptic bout when and where, all she said was that they would meet again. When they first met, she said that he knew everything about her, but he thought he couldn't, he became puzzled. How could he… When this was the very first time they met? He; the man who seemed to have all the answers. The man who, with sweat on his forehead; kept on saving the world, time and time again. The man who would just never give up! How could he not know this strange and beautiful woman?

She thought he looked young, younger than she'd ever seen him look before and it seemed to scare her. She had a sonic-screwdriver and it looked just the same as the one he now held in his own hands, and when he asked her about it, she told him that he'd given it to her. He wondered now, the reason behind it all. In the end he thought he'd lost her and it felt like his hearts had split in two. The loss weighed heavy on his mind, eating away on his consciousness, but he found a way to save her and looked forward to the next time they'd meet.
