A cold wind blew through the valley as I watched carefully for any human being within its grasp. I hadn't even flinched when the demanding icy gush hit my skin and left it numb. Blinking once, I spun on my heels and walked a few steps back, then threw myself off the majestic mountain I had perched on and felt the sensation of falling. Closing my eyes, I had felt the illusionary wings on my back appear once more, and I soared up into the starry night sky effortlessly. Spreading my arms out wide, I let myself go freely, until making a banking turn around toward the river that lead downstream. The gurgling of the water was like music to me, as I was escorted down by the utmost friendly waters you could find. Pausing to watch the river empty into a vast ocean, I soon felt twitchy to keep on moving and soon began to fly away from here. After a few 10 miles off the small valley I had started from, I soon reached the base of a huge cave within the middle of the ocean, hidden well in a shroud of slithering mist. Diving full speed into the fog, I found myself inside the cave, and expertly cleared the threatening rocks around me that dared to cut and tear me to shreds. Hearing the crashing of water ahead, I soared even farther within the cave, following yet, another small stream uphill, and confronted a large waterfall, crashing down menacingly. Smiling smugly, I spiraled into eh wall of water; I felt the weird sensation of passing through the illusion, and appeared on the other side. Soaring farther, I soon found a large house, all man made. Landing, I was aware of my evaporating wings as it faded away like another illusion, and I became a normal 16-year-old girl once more. Sighing, I pulled out several keys and unlocked the door. 'Click' 'click' 'click'. Pushing the door lightly, I stepped inside, careful not to wake my clan of friends who slept inside with me. Tip toeing through the living room; I dared not to switch on the lights. "And where do you think your going Blake?" a accusing voice shot out from the darkness. Spinning around, I was confronted with a very suspicious Sen. The lights were flicked on and Sen motioned for me to sit down. Hesitantly, I did, and bowed my head in a sign of respect. "Where did you go?" he growled under hid breath. "No where," I replied in a casual tone of voice and shrugged my shoulders. Sighing, Sen shook his head, making his black hair sway back and forth. "We were worried about you," "You shouldn't be," I returned in a harsher voice then I had really meant it to be. "Look, Blake, just don't go sneaking off again, or just let us know you left," he said sighing. Nodding, I watched him get up and leave me here in this isolated room. Goodnight Sen, I thought to myself. You can only 'hope' to find out where I went, I thought smugly, and let out a small laugh and deserted the room also.
