They show me a picture and ask if I know who the angel is. He looks so plain; he could be anyone.
Of course I deny it. Of course I tell them that I have never seen him before.

And before they can finish telling me my mistake, I remember that it's you - the angel who saved me before. The angel that I then falsely accused, who was subsequently convicted and executed...
"-Sevothtarte," they finish.
How ironic that I'd never known the identity I had stolen belonged to you.
My true identity and the rest of my sins are trotted out for all to hear. I am sentenced - not to death, but to imprisonment. There is window in my room, open, unbarred. But the tower is tall and my wings have been removed.
There is one angel who could save me now, and I resolve to let him if he tries.

Months pass, each day the same in my prison, and the only thing left for me to do is contemplate my fate.
What will happen if he is allowed to be reborn? Will I even survive the birth of the abomination?
And then one day, miraculously, I hear a song - a melody I had forgotten. Your voice.
Your smiling ghost reaches out a hand to me, still willing to save me even after what I've done to you. My eyes fill with tears as I run to you.
