Check Yes Juliet

Soda stuffed his hands in his jeans pockets as he walked. Beginning to walk faster, he cursed himself for not wearing a jacket.

Rain began to fall when he was five minutes away from her house. Cursing under his breath, he ran the rest of the way.

Check yes Juliet

Are you with me?

Rain is falling down on the sidewalk

I won't go until you come outside

Soda stopped running when he got to her house. Noting the light that seemed to be on in both the living room and the kitchen, he began to sneak around to the side of the house. Where he knew Sandy's room was.

Looking around, he spotted some rocks near the pavement. Grinning to himself, he scooped up a handful and continued to sneak to the side of the house.

Check yes Juliet

Kill the limbo

I'll keep tossing rocks at your window

There's no turning back for us tonight

He missed. Gripping another rock, he threw it at her window, soft enough to not break it, but hard enough for her to hear it.

Nothing. He tossed a couple more rocks before hearing the satisfying click of the window opening.

Lace up your shoes

Here's how we do

"Soda!" Her face lit up like a christmas tree when she saw him. Soda felt himself grin back as he tilted his head up slightly to get a better look at her face.

"What're you doing here?" she asked, lowering her voice. They both knew that her parents did not approve of them seeing each other. Soda was used to sneaking around with her.

"We're goin' out," Soda whispered back, grinning.

God she's beautiful, he thought to himself.

Sandy smiled that smile of hers, the one that could brighten up a room in seconds, not to mention brighten up his day.

"But Soda! It's really late, and I'm only wearing my night dress and dressing gown," she replied, still smiling.

"You look beautiful in anything! Lace up your shoes darlin', and I'll help you out of the window," Soda replied, smiling his famous Sodapop Patrick Curtis smile up at her. He knew she couldn't resist.

Sandy rolled her eyes playfully. "Alright, give me a minute."

True to her word, a minute later she reappered at the window.

"Sit yourself on the window sill, and I'll lift you down," Soda whispered, setting the rest of the rocks on the ground and watching her as she did as he said.

Sandy slowly slid herself off the window sill as Soda caught her feet. She placed her hands on his shoulders as he set her onto the ground, before picking her up honeymoon style.

"Soda," Sandy giggled as Soda carried her to the end of the lawn before setting her down again.

We're flying through the night

We're flying through the night

Way up high,

The view from here is getting better with

You by my side

Sliding his hand into hers, Soda turned to Sandy, gazing into her bright blue eyes.

"Let's get outta here, Juliet," he murmured, kissing her forehead gently.

Sandy blushed, thanking her lucky stars it was night time and he couldn't see her blushing as they began to run away from her house, hand-in-hand.

Run, baby, run

Don't ever look back

They'll tear us apart

If you give them the chance

Don't sell your heart

Don't say we're not meant to be

Run baby run

Forever will be

You and me
