Andros' Day At Work
Andros Khayman was very pleased as he was to be the first motorman to operate the Culver Shuttle from 36th Street in Brooklyn to Kings Highway in Brooklyn. The Train would leave at 530 Sharp and make all stops to Ditmas Avenue where it would turn express.

Arriving the 36th Street Subway Yard he saw that R68 2900 was all set to leave with cars 2901,2987,and 2986 in tow. Boarding 2900 which he was in when another R68 hit a R42 on the Flushing Line(Q) over Sunnyside Yard. He told the Dispatcher he was ready to leave.
"All Set to go."
"Good."
And off he went to 36th Street backing up with car 2987 in the lead on the rear.

At 36th Street a large group was waiting for the train well aware that Andros would push them clear of closing doors. He was to hold on the B's tracks for the R(a.k.a. Rarely) to arrive from Queens and Manhattan.

After the R left he was ready to go with 2900 set to forward. He told them,"this is the S Culver Shuttle to Kings Highway we are express from Ditmas so if you have to get to a local stop please use the F. First Stop 9th Ave. The B will be Upstairs. Stand Clear of the Closing Doors." Powering up 2900 he pulled it out of the station as R143 9685 led the M in to Bay Ridge. And the Culver Shuttle was off to the Culver Line and the F Train.

At Kings Highway the train was ordered out to cover for a G Train that broke down and New Jersey Transit could not supply cars to replace it. Andros received a conductor and R68s 2805 and 2804. The Conductor would be going between 2987 and 2986 depending on platform location and Andros would be in 2804.

At Smith-9th Streets He was set to leave as the missing G Train. His conductor announced,"This is the G Train to 71st and Continental Avenues in Forest Hills. First stop will be Carrel Street. Stand Clear of the Closing Doors." Andros put the fromt sign to G and left for Queens.
