I had been a great fan of the history behind Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei from some time and after the events of the volume 16 I have an idea for a challenge that come from when I was reading For The Love of Family by Katy Rain Muhle.
The idea for the challenge is about an abandoned Tatsuya ficc. All this come from a "What if" an event changed on Tatsuya past.
The plot starts when the Tatsuya mothers chose to didn´t bother to make the "operation" to Tatsuya and just banished him from the clan and send him to a faraway home to hide him. That the butler that insult him on FLT went after him and try to kill him so he do not insult the Yotsuba name with his life, but on that moment between life and dead, Tatsuya manage to escape and now believe that his "family" send someone to kill him.
The writers that want to take this challenge must meet some conditions.
1. When Tatsuya was running away for his life, he was found by a family, could be a magus family that understand his special power and chose to help him. Using a relic that they have, like the one on the Yokohama saga, they manage to have the same results as the "operation" but without the all sealing his emotions and giving him the same powers that he have on the series and in order to survive he swear that he will become stronger. His new family could event teach him a new kind of magic or power besides the one that he normally have.
2. You can made that his new family be characters from others series.
3. That on a holydays trip he was on Okinawa when the events there took the same place just that Miyuki only saw the boy that safe her as a dream. And no one know who was the strategic class magician that stopped the enemy forces and the government as well as the 10 masters clans are now looking to that one magician.
4. That the Yotsuba after learning what the butler did try to find Tatsuya only to made sure that the history do not go to the media because if the public opinion is too negative about them they could lose some support from the government.
5. Tatsuya will create his own Technology Company.
6. Tatsuya will meet with Miyuki on the first day of class and from there is up to you.
7. Also if Maya didn't participate on the Operation that would made that she never got sick, still have her feelings and now want to reconnect with a son that want nothing to do with her, she become distant to everybody of the Yotsuba but remains motherly to Miyuki. All that can make a scenario very interesting to the meeting between Tatsuya and his family.
I wanted to write this history but because English is not my mother language, made that writing a long history will be difficult for me.
By the way had some one considered made a Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei / Mass Effect crossover?
