A sunny sunday morning in Sternbild, Sky High, the popular hero, was walking with his soulmate in the park.
John was happy to be there, John liked to walk with Keith, after all and much to his sadness, he couldn't go with him when he patrolled. He couldn't go with him when he worked either.
"It's dangerous out there, I can't take you along" he had said while petting him, smelling and sounding like regret.
In the end, John didn't really care, he loved Keith and was happy whenever he could spend a little time with him, and, at the very least, sneaking into bed with him every night.

Keith loved these sunday mornings too, he loved to be able to take care of John properly, always feeling bad when he left him alone for too long, even if he couldn't do anything against it. His job was to protect people, living his own life went in second, so did John.
So when no one needed Sky High on sunday mornings, and it happened quite often, apparently criminals were sleeping until noon on sunday too, he took the opportunity to walk with John in the park, doing shopping, buying fresh bread to eat later and allowing John to run freely.

One day he bumped into Ivan, Origami Cyclone, his young colleague doing exactly the same thing though alone.
When he saw the young blond walking in front of him he yelled "Ivan, and again Ivan!"
Ivan stopped on his tracks and waved at him shyly, waiting for Keith to reach him.
"Good morning Keith"
"Good morning Ivan and again good morning!" he said happily, a bright smile illuminating his face. "So, what are you doing alone so early in the morning?"
"Buying breakfeast"
"I see! So you live around there too?"
"Yes, I do"
"Good.", then, a pause, "It must be sad to walk alone, do you want to come along with us?"
Ivan nodded and followed the two, suddenly grabbed by Keith "Come on, don't stay back"

After a while they stopped walking to sit on a bench, John expectantly sitting at their feet. "Does he want something?" asked Ivan
"Yes and again yes! We always stop there to play" he took out a frisbee and handed it to Ivan "Do you want to play too?"
Ivan said nothing and took the frisbee from his hands, standing up and throwing it. John caught it and took it back, presenting it to Ivan.
Keith chuckled, "He really likes you"
"Is it true?" Ivan turned his head back toward him, a shy smile forming on his face.
"Yes it's true"

They continued to play for a little while, when Ivan sat again, tired. "You're tired?"
"Yes, a bit"
"Then why don't we go somewhere for breakfeast since we bumped into each other?
"Yes, but .. John?"
"Don't worry and again don't worry! John is a good guy and I know places where he can come along"

He stood up, extanding his hand to Ivan "Then, shall we go?"
"Yes"
"Woof"

And they both laughed. Really, John liked sunday mornings if they could make his master so happy.
