It had been a year since Aloisa Elizabeth Kirkland-Bonnefoy had been born to the happy couple Francis and Arthur. Today, she was dressed in a pretty, baby blue dress and sat in her high chair, nibbling on pieces of chocolate cake. Arthur smiled at his sweet little daughter and patted her head that was full of blonde-brown curls. "Oh! Francis!" he piped up as he noticed the nation pace past the kitchen door. Francis looked up at his loving boyfriend. "Ahh...Mon cheri,we need to speak..." he said softly.

"What about,love?"
The Frenchman nodded towards his daughter.

"What about her?" Arthur asked,confused.

"Well...how do I say zis? We...we don't have the money to take care of her anymore..."

Arthur's eyes widened and he quickly grabbed his green-eyed child.

"N-no...There has got to be money somewhere! We can't let go of her!" He shouted.

France simply wrapped his arms around England and let hot tears spill down his face.

The next day,Aloisa was sent to someone the pair felt they could trust to take care of her. China. She soon became too much for him to handle and was bounced from country to country as a child. At the age of 6,she was adopted by a Swede and a Finnish man who accepted her into the family the moment they caught a glimpse of her. She lived with them and three other countries,Denmark,Norway and Iceland.

~That was just a quick backstory! Now,it's chapter time! 6 years later~

Aloisa sat on her front lawn, tossing a bright, red ball between her two pale, thin hands. "Hey! You!" she heard a boy yell. The blonde looked up to see a young boy walking toward her. She stood up and met him at the wooden fence. "H-hi..." she muttered."Heya! I kinda saw you from like over there and thought you were kinda pretty so I came over!" the boy said to her,a bit louder than what she was used to. "Ahh..ahh..thanks" she whispered. The boy simply smirked and Aloisa was able to study his features. He has brunette hair that was a complete mess. Do his parents even care? She thought. Her hair was always neatly combed by her mama,Finland. A few freckles dotted his pale, tiny nose and he had big blue eyes. He also had a strange, infectious, goofy smile that made her smile too. "So..ahhh...who do you belong to? I belong to my Mama Finland and Papa Sweden."

"Ehh? Oh! I am currently "owned" by Spain and America." was the boy's answer.

"So..ehhh...what's your name? Mine is Aloisa.."

"Chris. Chris D. Jones!" he announced proudly.

"That's a nice name. I-" Aloisa was cut off by Finland calling to her,"Aloisa! Dinnertime!"

"Oh...I must leave..." Aloisa muttered softly and turned to go back. Chris quickly grabbed her arm, spun her back around and kissed her cheek.

"See ya,gorgeous!" he shouted as he ran off. Aloisa blushed gently and wished he were still there...so she could punch him.

"Awwww! Does my baby have a little boyfrieeeend?" Finland sang-songed as they stepped inside.

"Boyfriend?" Sweden mumbled, putting down his book. Aloisa's blush deepened. "N-no! N-not like that! H-he's just a boy I m-met outside!" she stuttered, falling over every word. Sweden hmm'd then went back to his book.

After dinner,Aloisa was given a bath and put to bed. She sat up in her twin sized-bed,knees pulled to her chest. She was thinking about that boy. Suddenly,there was a tapping at her window. No...oh god please no...she thought and went to go check. He wasn't there but there was a pebble with a note tied to it. It read;

Aloisa,

Hey. I wanted to do something sweet but I figured waiting under your window was, like, cliche so I didn't. I left a note instead. I just wanna say goodnight, beautiful. I'll see ya tomorrow.

-Chris

Aloisa read through a few times more, stuffed it under her pillow and fell asleep.
