The Dark Master Escapes from the portal
Spyro lay on his sun bed, closing his eyes while Ember and Flame swam in the sea. Ember came toppling over to Spyro's sun bed and knocking him into the clear water. Quickly Ember recovered and ran in the freezing water but she did not mind. Flame suddenly spoke.
"Nice day, isn't it?" he asked.
"Yeah, it is isn't it," answered Spyro looking at Flame who was looking at Ember.
Suddenly Ember grabbed Spyro's leg and Spyro's head smashed threw the water. Flame came flying in grabbing Spyro to shore but Ember lost her grip. Flame dived in again and pulled Ember out.
"What was that?" asked Ember but neither of them answered for they did not know what it was. The three ran to a high sand dune and lay on their sun beds. Then Hunter and Bianca came over screaming.
"What is it, Hunter?" asked Flame. "Did Bianca have a heart attack."
"No but she was almost sucked in by this drain in the water, but I saved her, do you have any idea what it might be?" asked Hunter suspiciously.
The three shook their heads and slumped back on their chairs slowly dozing off. A few minutes later there was a great pile of sand on them. Spyro spat out the sand that was in his mouth. Flame shook of the golden powder off of his scales and looked around for Hunter and Bianca. Ember however saw a pool of blood in the biggest rock pool below. Ember slid down the sand dune to see a dragon with six wounds all around them. The other two joined Ember, Spyro gasped to see his friend, Cynder unconscious in the water. Looking at all the blood in the pool, he immediately thought she was dead. Suddenly her head moved and slowly she got up and walked to the sand. Cynder collapsed again but got up again to meet Spyro, Ember and Flame, who only saw a wounded black dragon who needed help.
She finally spoke, but in a very weak voice.
"It's good to see you again," Cynder said shutting her eyes and then opening them.
"Yeah it's good to see you to," said Spyro.
"What happened? Why are you wounded like that?" Ember asked.
Flame just looked at Cynder who looked at the sky. Then the other three looked to see a dark, black, thickening cloud covering the air. Cynder looked back down to level with their heads.
"He has escaped. He has escaped the portal because of me. You remember when I first met you I left the last gem by the portal, he only needed another gem, and he got what he wanted. My people new that I was trying to get him free and they helped him, and he left Convexity and found me, taking me here and he wanted to kill me but he couldn't. He left me in the rock pool, and now he's trying to destroy the world," said Cynder.
She started to cry until a figure erupted from the sky. Then a bolt of light zapped out of his hands, trying to kill Spyro but left with an evil smile on his face…
