Okay, this is my very first Fan Fiction, so please give feedback:) This is following "Partings," and the story was inspired by what I thought the cliffhanger was going to be this season. A total L/L

Get off. Get off of me! Lorelai screamed to Christopher in her head. She couldn't stand the feeling of his arm around her. Lorelai couldn't believe where she was. How did she end up here? How did she end up in Christopher's bed? What the hell happened? What made her go so crazy? Well, that one she knew the answer to. She needed to think, to talk to Rory, to sort everything out. But most of all, she needed to get out of Christopher's apartment. She peeked over and saw that, thankfully, Chris had fallen back asleep. She lifted his arm lightly and slipped out, shuddering at the thought of being naked in his bed. What the hell is wrong with me? She saw her clothes piled together in the corner, grabbed them and hurried to the bathroom. After she splashed some cold water on her face, she stared at her reflection. Way to screw yourself over again, Gilmore. Not only did you let yourself get taken advantage of, you basically ruined any chances of things being okay with Luke again. You're alone. Again. With that thought, she suddenly felt dizzy and sick. She needed to get out of that apartment.

Rory decided she wasn't going to wallow. She still had Logan; he was just farther away. She would take this time to focus on other things: Finishing her college career, securing a more permanent position at the Gazette, and enjoying time with her newly married best friend. But most importantly, she wanted to find out what was the matter with her mom. Things with Luke were tense, yes, but there had to be something else. Her mom was suddenly more anxious than ever about Luke. First breaking down at Lane's wedding, then avoiding Luke for days; something was definitely off and it couldn't just be about April. She was determined to find out what was bugging her. As she picked up the phone to give her a call, there was a knock at the door.

"Mom, hi," she said, her smile quickly fading at the sight of her mother. Her eyes were bloodshot, she was extremely pale and she hadn't changed her clothes from the previous evening. "What's the matter?"

Lorelai came in, crumbled onto the couch, and began sobbing. Rory hurried over and held her mother as she cried.

"I ruined it again," Lorelai mumbled after a little while. "He needed time again and I pushed him again. And then I ran away and made everything worse. I ruined everything again."

"Mom, no," Rory insisted. "What's making you think that?"

Lorelai went on to explain what happened after Friday night dinner, her confrontation with Luke, and her impromptu trip to Boston.

"I just don't see how I could ever fix things with Luke now. Something goes wrong and I run to Christopher?" Lorelai buried her head in the back cushion on the couch.

"What brought this on, Mom?" Rory inquired. "I mean, I just don't understand. All of the sudden you needed to be married now? I understand wanting to get things moving, but why eloping? Why couldn't you just sit down and talk about your concerns?"

Lorelai sat up and looked her daughter in the eyes. "It's just, in the past few weeks, I've been really antsy about the wedding. I was tired of it being on hold."

Rory felt there was more coming on, but her mom stopped. "But why now, Mom?"

Lorelai took a deep breath. "Because I'm pregnant."
