Chapter One : Machines and Fours

A Dark Room in the palace...
" Mercury are sure this will work ?"
" Of course! Are you doubting me Mars ?"
" No! Of course not. But, who's going first ?"
" I will !"
" Serenity are you sure ?"
" Yeah "
" Then step up here please. "
Serenity immedently got up from her prince's arms, making her way to the platform that Mercury was currently pointing to.
It was a huge circle that was immenting a soft glow of green and purple. It had huge crystels surrounding it, acting as an outer-ring. A control panel was located by Mercury and Zocite, it was a mixture of big red buttons and smaller orange, green, blue, and teal buttons. But, what caught ones attetion was a huge bowl shape hovering above the platform, with a smaller circle in it, the smaller one was immenting a bright blue glow.
Serenity was standing in the middle of the platform, it scared her a little bit, but she knew she had to show the others how she matured in the future. Also what a great Queen she would make along with Endymion as her King.
That's right this was a future machine. It was designed to bring who ever was standing on the platform to their future selves. Of course this was the first experiment on the machine, and all were worried, for their princess was the first to try the un-named machine. Of course no-one was as worried as Endymion, the princess's lover.
" Are you ready Serenity ?"
" Yes, but what time are you putting it to ?"
" Oh, two tousands years into the future. "
" Ok...how old will I be ?"
" At least, 2, 014 years old. Now please relax. "
" Ok "
Mercury pressed a big red button and the room light up. The crystels started to glow a heavy dark green and shot lasers to the platform and to the small circle in the big bowl shape. The circle and the platform started to glow a light purple, and a cracking sound was heard. Serenity was fading.
Mercury, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Endymion, Malachite, Nephrite, Jedite, and Zocite all watched with amazed features on their faces. Pluto was not their for they know she would have killed them if she found out what they doing.
Then the lights started to fade, and to their amazement Serenity was still their ! But, not just one Serenity but four !
