OK: soooo I'm doing the stage version of HSM at my local theatre, and my friend Jenna (story dedicated to her) thought about the relations all the characters had to one another. In the stage version there is a boy named Jack Scott who does the school announcements, well he thought for awhile and began to ponder what would it be like if Jack (he's young in our show) was Troy's little brother, a little brother who wasn't exactly happy with the title. So this came out spur of the moment and while this chap. will probably be edited later I wanted to put it up.

Characters you won't know: (I.E.: the Breakfast Clubbers)

Anna Cox- Martha's fourteen year old sister (CHEERLEADER)

Cyndi Darbus-Kratnoff- Kelsi's cousin and Ms. Darbus's great-niece (BRAINIAC)

Ellie Cooper- one of triplets, her sisters follow Sharpay. (SKATER)

James McKessie- Taylor's fourteen year old brother (THESPIAN)

Susan McKessie- Taylor's fifteen year old sister (THESPIAN)

Jackson Scott Bolton couldn't take it. He'd tried, he really did, and he'd tried because Kelsi, Anna, Cyndi, Ellie, James, and Susan had told him to but he couldn't take it. He was Troy Bolton's baby brother, Coach's youngest but no one knew and the few who did didn't care, not even his father or brother cared. Neither had noticed that Jack had conveniently given only his first and middle names when he auditioned to be the 'The Velvet Fog', hell he was positive his dad and brother thought Jack Scott was a totally different guy than Jackie Bolton, but he wasn't. Jackie was his 'copout name' as he called it, a name that both Troy and Jack Sr. felt appropriate to use whenever they were missing his mom, or missed something big of his because of basketball. Eventually, Jack gave up telling them about his events, why make them feel guilty, right?

Troy made another slam dunk and the crowd went wild, a timeout was called and Jack saw something that made his stomach clench. His dad hugged Troy, kissed his head and, from what Jack could tell, said 'I'm so proud of you.' Why hadn't Jack ever gotten an 'I'm proud of you'? How come there were no more manly hugs or paternal kisses for the youngest? Cyndi Darbus-Kratnoff saw the look in Jack's eyes, hurt deep pain that made his eyes glaze over. The 'Breakfast Clubbers' as the group of seven had lately been called all saw the look. They got up, Jack was going to do something, something he may or may not regret, but either way they would all be there for him.

"And Troy 'the-basketball-boy' Bolton makes another easy slam dunk. A slam dunk that in ten years no one will remember, just like after twenty years no one cares about how Coach Bolton cost East high the win, except for every basketballus moronus jock! But guess what people in ten years when Troy Bolton is the assistant coach here, because let's face it in the end every high school pipe dream ends, who's really gonna care if he made a friggin' slam dunk in one pathetic game that was only won because the opponents are supposed to feel intimidated. No one CARES! Every day a sport happens and after an hour everyone's back to the real world, everyone that is except Coach and Troy Bolton who have absolutely no friggin' lives and can't even remember that there is another member of their family in their house and at their school. Because you know what it took fourteen years for them to not care and remember me!" Jack stopped, everyone stared, he didn't think anyone would care about his outburst, he'd just get yelled at for disturbing the game. Jack stood up suddenly and began to walk and then he ran, ran like hell into his 'office' as Jack Scott, and he cried, his mop top of dark curls clinging to his wet face and sobs racking his body
