Harry Potter looked around the house that he was finally moving into. It had taken him forever to find a house that actually felt like it was his. He had started to give up on finding one that felt like home to him. He knew that everyone had wanted him to move into a house that they picked for him, but he wanted one that felt like it fit his personality.

He would be the first to admit that the house he bought was bigger than he had originally been looking for. He loved how big the rooms were and couldn't wait to see them filled. He loved the fact that the floorplan of the house was open. He smiled as he made his way through his house. He had a lot of things to get settled and he couldn't wait to do it.

He walked out his front door and to the moving truck parked in his driveway. His house was going to be a mix of wizardry and muggle. His closest neighbors were over five miles away, so he could use his magic freely if he wanted to. It also helped that his property was surrounded by trees and that he had wards up to protect his property and himself. His property was approximately thirty acres which was pretty much one of the deciding factors to buy the house.

He opened the moving truck door and with a wave of his hand several pieces of furniture were floating in the air. He walked into his house and quickly made decisions on where he wanted to put things. He had known before hand, but he wanted to make sure that was still where he wanted to place everything.

He never understood why people always freaked out when they moved into a new house. He bought the house and then took the time to think about where he wanted things. He already knew where he wanted to place the furniture at for the living room. He also knew exactly how he wanted his bedroom to look.

The first thing he did was hook up the stereo system. Once he had music playing he got to work on setting his house up. He made several trips to the moving truck to unload everything. He worked hard on making sure that everything was where he wanted it. He only stopped to eat a quick lunch and a quick dinner. He wanted to get everything unpacked so that he could finally have a home for himself.

He could see why some people hated moving to a new place, but he loved it. He loved the feeling of accomplishment that he got once he finally had everything where he wanted it to be. He stepped back and looked at his bedroom which he had saved for last. He couldn't help but grin. He walked through his house and the grin grew as he realized that he was home and that he was right where he should be.
