Prologue

The rain was making a hypnotic song on the window. Strong and steady it was soothing. On the other side of the window a young man lay in quite meditation. This was no ordinary boy, not by a long shot. No, in one world he barely even registers existence. In another, he is salvation; whether he wants to be or not.

Harry Potter lay on his bed and could only think of one thing. Sirius. His godfather whom had died just a two weeks ago. A regular person would be given the chance to go through the grieving stage and would be able to move on. But what if you are never given the releasing chance? What if you are expected to 'grit your teeth and bare it'? That you are suppose to be stronger the grief that you can't feel it? What happens then? In Harry's case you push it to the back of your mind and let it sit there. In time it festers and molds. It become a volatile mass; a dangerous disease that, until now has lain dormant. Now however it awakens to not only sickens you but if left untreated will bring you to the ultimate end. So as Harry lays upon his bed at the Uncle and Aunts house, he knows that pushing away his grief is no longer and option. Now he needs to find away to be done with it before it is done with him. So as the rain continues to play its tranquil song, Harry come up with a plane to give the time grieve and come to and understanding acceptance of his birth right, the reason he is still alive.
