This is my first Harry Ginny (I don't know what the ship is called) fic (more like drabble) and i hope you guys like it.
Not Alone
A Harry-Ginny fic inspired by A Very Potter Musical
It felt good to fight. I knew I wasn't supposed to, because I'm "underage" and everything.
While I was helping a student get to the temporary Infirmary in the Great Hall, I saw a pair of feet briefly before disappearing.
Why in the name of Albus Dumbledore is Harry going into the forest? No way is he going to give himself up!
"Oh no you don't!" I told Harry when I caught up to him and pulled away his cloak. "Are you barking mad?"
"Ginny!" he exclaimed "This is the only way!"
"You're just giving Voldemort what he wants! He's not going to set all of us free!"
"I am not going to let anyone else die," he said. "I'm going alone!"
"Harry you are never alone!" I said. "You don't know what it's really like to be alone. You've never experienced complete and utter darkness in your life!"
"Ginny, I've experienced that loads of times," he continued.
"NO!" I shouted. No, Ginny. Don't cry. DON'T FREAKING CRY! "Look, I'm trying my best here, so please just hear me out for a while. You were never truly alone. Your Mum and dad always loved you . . . as for me . . . I've always been the . . . youngest and . . . at the back of the line. You're never truly alone because I've always been here! And so have been Ron and Hermione. We've always been here for you; you're just having a hard time seeing that. Dumbledore . . . he was right. As long as somebody loves you, we are going to defeat Him!"
"People have died because of me!" he shouted. "I am not going to let that happen again!"
Okay. Time for Plan B.
I moved closer to him, caressed his face and looked straight in his eyes.
"Baby you're not alone
Cause you're here with me
And nothings ever gonna bring us down
Cause nothing can keep me from loving you
And you know it's true
It don't matter what'll come to be
Our love is all we need to make it through"
After that, I kissed him. "You're not alone. You have me. You have everyone. We are all fighting for you. Please, don't let us down. Don't waste everything everyone sacrificed. We're going to do this together, Harry."
He nodded. "Voldemort is going down."
I smiled.
