She woke up to him pulling her closer, he was obviously still awake. One hand resting on her stomach just like it had been there when they talked that night before, and the other arm snaked around her waist. He was so cute when he was sleeping, she smiled and drew herself closer to him as well. She remembered last night, they had been talking about their future for hours about the baby mostly. Mac had told her that even though it was really unexpected nothing could make him happier, she had been so emotional when he told her that she meant the world to him and her carrying their baby made him even love her more, been though he had thought loving her more was impossible.
The baby cried and the parents got out of bed to check o her.
They looked at their sleeping child and smiled. Vanessa smiled even more when she picked her up. The baby laughed.
'I'm going to take a shower' Mac said.
"We will be at the Camdens'
When Vanessa got their Annie had already started making pancakes and bacon. Ruthie was at the kitchen table with Sam and David.
'Mornin' Nessa' Ruthie said cheerfully.
'Morning Ruthie'
'How are you feeling" Annie asked.
'Much better than yesterday we talked last night"
Annie took the baby from Vanessa and put her in a highchair.
Vanessa sat down next to Ruthie while Annie started cutting up bananas for the baby.
'Where's Mac' Annie asked.
'in the shower but he is coming over later"
'I'll save him some bacon'
Ok but lets not tell him that when he first comes over here lets play a trick on him"
"Ok"
About ten minutes after this conversation Mac came through the door asking for bacon.
"Sorry Mac it's all gone'
Yeah its not here anymore you were too late"
'What!" Mac was really angry
