Ys: Chronicles of the Elder Sister

Do you know the name Adol Christin? His exploits have been meticulously chronicled in over 100 volumes of personal travelogue, detailing where he'd been, what he learned, and what he accomplished thereat. However he is not the only member of his family to accomplish great things, as his Elder sister's exploits are equal to that of his own. Follow Adora Christin on her quest.

To celebrate the release of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana and make an attempt to spread more awareness of this series, I have decided to write a fanfic of one of my favorite RPG series. This series is well known for its soundtracks and it is one of the best video game soundtracks I've ever heard, I wholly recommend checking it out. To give an example listen to Ys VIII: Lacrisoma of Dana [BGM RIP] - Sunshine Coastline, Ys: Oath in Felghana - The Strongest foe, or Ys VI Ark of Napishtim - Release of the Far west ocean on youtube. Although this is just a fraction of the awesome tracks of Ys and Falcom's jdk band. It's really tragic that there is only a small number of fanfics for this series. I do not own the Ys series, just the OC's of this fanfic.

Do you know the name 'Adora Christin'?

Adora Christin...

The elder sister of the far more famous Adol Christin whose travelogues is believed to have inspired the Age of Discovery by a significant number of historians.

Referenced in a number of Adol's personal travelogues, historians and scholars have wondered about what sort of person she was and how much impact she had on her sibling and history.

Roughly 1100 years ago, she was born at a small unknown mountain village, situated in the northeast of Europe at the western end of the Eurasian continent four years before Adol Christin.

She was an extraordinary warrior who had traveled all across Europe and foreign lands from the age of 17 until the final years of her life for the sake of honing her skills and challenging powerful foes.

She, who was born as the eldest daughter of a villager, was known as a driven and active youth who sought to improve herself more than anything.

Inspired by stories of warriors vanquishing powerful foes from her childhood, she left her homeland to test her mettle. Traveling far and wide as a part of her training and experience, Adora would master many weapons and fighting styles and vanquish many renowned warriors, infamous criminals, armies, monsters, and even legendary beings. Her feats have earned her numerous titles.

Her journals along with her studies and research on a variety of weapons and fighting styles, including a personal style of her own creation, was found preserved alongside Adol's travelogues. As we read them, we learn more about her influence and personality.
