So this idea came to me yesterday when I was thinking about just what happens when you encounter a Vegetoid…

Vegetoid was walking around the Ruins on what seemed at first like a normal day. Then he saw them. It was a human! Vegetiod hadn't seen one of them in years, so he decided to approach. The human didn't seem very happy to see him at first, but then a strange smile came over their face.
The human lunged at Vegetoid with their mouth open, and tried to take a bite out of the monster. It didn't work, but Vegetoid stared at the human in shock. Why were they trying to eat him!? He sent an attack their way, hoping to scare the human off.
The human dodged every attack, then launched one of their own. Vegetoid felt the stick clutched in the human's hand crash into his face, and let out a startled cry. Vegetoid attacked again, but still dealt no damage to the human. He didn't want to fight anymore, but the human wouldn't leave.
The stick hit him again, and Vegetoid felt a bit faint. Would this be it? Was this human going to beat him to death with that stick? Suddenly the human jumped on him, taking a large bite out of his head. Vegetoid screamed, trying in vain to throw the human off. He begged them to stop; they took another bite. He pleaded with them, and they only grinned their mouth full.
Vegetoid could do nothing as the human devoured him, until his soul finally broke. And the human walked off, that sick grin still plastered across their face.
