Here's my first one-short on Phantom. I decided to focus on Meg, cause even thought I like Christine I think Meg desevres more credict, than she gets. I own nothing, but the song. I do OWN the SONG. I hope you enjoy.

Meg Giry gazed up at the moon over looking the Opera house. The late night air was chilly and she shivered slightly. It had been a year since the Phantom incident. She had kept in touch with her best friend, but other than that she was all alone. Brushing her golden hair out of her face she let out a heavy sigh. She had never really fit in with the new ballet rats and she went to visit Christine it was like a nightmare.
The wind blew around her more and she hugged her sea foam clack around her ballerina custom. It was the night that she had been presented as the Prima Ballerina of all of Paris, yet she hadn't made it. She let out a deep breath, trying not to cry and gazed up at the moon again. Shakily she breathed in deeply and let a song flow out of her smooth and small mouth as sweet as the rays of sunlight on water.
I'm standing in a coward
Unheard, out of place
Dreams and wishes wasted
No one understands
The longing to be heard
Will anyone listen?
Cause I'm
Chorus:
Screaming, shouting
Praying to the moon
Begging on my knees
Just to be heard
She remembered the glory Christine had received when she had sang at the Gala and she wasn't sure she could deal wit that. She kneeled down on the roof praying silently to herself. Salty tears rolled down her check and handed on her fingers, each tear like acid burning away her dreams. Why hadn't she made it, she had practiced her whole life for it and still it hadn't happened. Whapping away the tears she continued to sing.
People can say they hear you
They can say we understand
But it's not true
No body knows the pain
Deep within themselves
Cause they're
(Repeat Chorus)
----------------
In the darkness we hide
Waiting for the light
Of someone to care
Some one to listen
Cause we're
Screaming, shouting
Praying to the moon
Begging on my knees
Just to be heard
"Just to be heard," Meg whispered as a sob caught in her throat. She sucked up the new tears, refusing to let them fall as she stood up. Brushing the dust off of her dress she walked back inside. She cradled into her bed crying and soon had cried herself to sleep feeling that no one would ever listen or let her be heard.

I know it's a little out there, but please don't punish me for that. I hope you enjoyed it. Please review.
