The Cute, the Furry, and the Ignorant

Once there was an adorable German Shepherd who had been raised to believe that he was a cat. His friend, who was in actuality a vainly beautiful, sleek black cat who, although beautiful, was not very smart, took him to a mirror, and explained proudly that she was a cat, while he was a mere dog. After much persuasion, the dog accepted his heritage and lived on happily as a loyal and humble dog. Later that day, the cat was climbing a bookshelf made of pure gold and mahogany accents, full of unopened boxes of Skittles when her cruel, bossy master commented, "That cat must think that she is a bird." So, the cat lived like a bird, believing what her master had said: She ate worms, jumped off bookshelves to see if she could fly, and even attempted to live in the birdcage with all the other birds. The smart, kind, and obedient dog, remembering the cat's kindness, took her to the birdcage where she had tried to live, showed her the birds that lived inside it, and explained to her that she was a cat, not a bird, thus freeing her from the birdcage, ignorance, and shackles of lies that bound her from living her life to its fullest.

The truth will set you free.

I did this for school a few weeks ago and decided to share! Enjoy:)
